Awesome tool, great design!
I found the Finpuller on Amazon Prime and had to order it. I'm a tool guy and it's been so long since there was a useful tool developed for the surf industry, especially something that I would actually use so I thought I'd take a sec to write a review.I ordered in on Prime and got it in a few days. I was happy to see that it came in an Amazon envelope instead of an oversized box. I loved the internal packaging, from Finpuller itself- a cool brown paper bag with the logo on it.I wasn't sure what to expect in terms of build quality from the tool. Depending on the plastic that is used, plastic tools can be pretty flimsy but this one is definitely professional-grade and super solid. I could practically hammer nails with it if I had to. I can't envision a scenario where it might break or wear out like fin keys do. But the grey rubber trim gives it a nice soft feel and it is super gentle on my boards. The design looks great. I assume that the ribs give it strength but they also look cool and I love that it includes a leash string on the end- this thing is made to hang on the wall in my garage. I've tried it on all my various fins and fin systems, including longboard fins and it works exactly as advertised. I'll probably get another on so that I can have one in my backpack and one in my garage. So in summary:Design is really coolBuild quality is excellentIt works exactly as advertisedI would definitely recommend it, especially for shops, board rental and surf schools that do a lot of fin removal and installation.I've attached some photos I took to show the product and packaging and attention to detail in the design. Thanks!M

This Tool is Perfect
This thing is perfect. Rubberized outside/inside so there is no worry about damaging/denting your board or fins. The leverage it gives you makes pushing/pulling fins effortless. Totally worth it to buy one of these and have it around whether you change fins often or not.

An essential tool if you has FCS2 fins
Needless to say the FCS2 system is awful. It's sad that a tool like this is even needed, but I'm so glad that it exists. I've cut my hands multiple times trying to remove and sometimes even installing FCS2 fins by hand. This makes installation and removal effortless. Pro tip - if your fins are hard to put in, wax the base a little.

Truly works!
Just got this in the mail about 15 minutes ago. Had two stuck Futures fins on one of my boards. Generally speaking not a big deal, but with a surf trip coming up absolutely critical to be able to remove the fins for travel. I tried a variety of 'tricks' that seemed to work in the past = leaving board in a hot car, but this time that did not work, even with the added assistance of pliers.Using this tool I was able to pop them right off!!! Took me a moment to see how to use it with Futures fins vs. FCS versions, as the instructions that come with the tool only illustrate removal of two tab FCS style, but the FINPULLER website clearly shows you how to use it with Futures fins; naturally I discovered that after the fact. And I will add that it serendipitously seems as though the tool will fit in one of my FCS fin wallets, not that it is necessary but nice to keep everything organized.Stoked on the product!!! Great to finally free the prisoners from my board and knowing I won't have issues in the "Futures."And yes as the other dude posted package is cool and the tool is really constructed solidly, almost strong as a little billy club, so when the locals attack reach for your FINPULLER, haaaah.

This is really helpful when fins get stuck.
If you’ve ever jammed a Futures fun down in a fun box that got just a little resin in it, because you are putting the fins in for the first time when it’s firing, you know the dread. I’ll never get this fin out, I’ll just leave them in the board and buy another set of the same fins. You no longer have to worry about trying to hammer your fin out, breaking the fin box, or driving the tip of the fin straight through the fiber glass. This thing pulls them all out.FCS2 comes out easy the first few times, but once a little salt gets in there it can be tough, and I have a pretty strong grip.

Worked great on a very stuck FCS fin
I've never written a product review for anything I bought on Amazon but this tool deserves it. I had a tremendously stuck FCS fin - I tried daily WD40 treatment, pulling with a towel, protecting the fin and hitting it with a soft mallet and nothing worked. I was pretty sure extraction was going to cost me the fin box. Within 20 minutes of receiving this the fin was off with no fin box/board damage. It still wasn't an easy extraction but it got the job done.
