Ice-breaker.
A great game for getting to know friends and relatives a bit better... It generates both laughter and occasionally some spirited conversation, especially when played with among generations....

Not what I thought it would be
I purchased this to use in my SLP therapy sessions with adults who have deficits with main ideas and response latency. It is OK, but not really good for what I wanted. You have to make up a story, then the listener summarizes what you have said via picture, tweet, headline, etc. It would have been better if the story was provided, and you had to summarize it in a concise manner.

too much fun
I bought this game on Amazon recently and brought it to a party to play. It was an instant hit! We are still laughing about the funny stories told and how they were shortened by the group. The game is very easy to understand and fun to play. I enjoy playing other party games such as: Apples to Apples, Cards Against Humanity, Dixit, and Wits & Wagers for different reasons; however, sometimes the games have to be adjusted to match the group playing. That not the case with this game – everyone can play and have fun. It’s great to finally find a game that’s new and fresh and not simply a twist on an existing game. This game is for ALL ages (even though the suggested age is 13+), young and not-so-young! Get ready to laugh!

The game your party deserves
Finally a new game that isn’t simply an imitation of another game. This is the game that every party deserves! I purchased Long Story Short on Amazon based on a friend’s recommendations and I’m glad I did. The game is a blast! It is simple to learn and easy play. The questions sparked lively discussions and created a lot of funny moments. It’s a great way for friends and families to learn more about each other and have a great time doing it.We played with a small group, but the game expands to any size of the group. I can see this game playing really well with groups of teenagers or college students. It would be a great gift for the person who has everything.

Hard to figure out
Regret buying this game. We thought it was hard to figure out, so didn't even play it. Maybe it was just the crowd we had there that night.

Great game for older kids and teens!
My children (ages 12, 15 and 17) absolutely LOVE Long Story Short. When they have friends over, this is the game they pull out. It is nice because a small number or a large number of people can easily play. Everyone gets a kick out of trying to "best" each other at having the funniest description of the story. I know that when my kids pull out Long Story Short, I will be hearing peals of laughter over and over again.
