Q: What does the blue end fit into ?

It fits into a lithium-ion battery starter.

Q: If i connect this to a 12volt power source and the obd2, will that help me jumpstart the car AND save the memory?

This is not used for jump starting a car. It is used for maintaining computer memory and radio settings while changing car batteries. When changing the car battery be sure to not let the positive battery cable touch any ground on the car because the 12 volt power source used to supply power to the obd2 port is supplying power to the car and if the positive battery cable touches a ground it could cause problems with the car computer.

Q: Will this obtain mileage without a key available?

You need to plug in the OBD in the engine off position then turn key or push start button to the on position not the start position. It cant read any codes if you computers are off .

Q: Will it work on 2014 honda crv?

I found it useful on a 2015 kia soul. In the end I chose to let the computer re boot rather than chance mistake

NO QUALITY CONTROL

My son bought this for me because he knew I was planning to replace batteries in several cars. Very easy tohookup. The RED LIGHT did NOT light up to assure me I could proceed.Very frustrating as I had several vehicles ready for battery replacement. Checked fuse link OK - had electricity up to final OBDII cord.Do they do quality control before shipping? VERY FRUSTRATING 🤬
