Excellent quality, very reliable, works perfectly in every set-up that I have tested, and fixed an HDMI handshaking fault.
I bought this HDMI splitter to pass HD 1080p videos from my Media Player, to my 42" Sony Bravia TV and my Denon Soundbar. The Sony Bravia only has stereo audio outputs, so they wouldn't give surround sound - or even the best quality stereo. The splitter solved the problem perfectly, sending HD video to the TV and superb quality surround sound to my Denon sound bar. It also fixed an HDMI handshaking problem between the Sony Bravia and an Android 7.1 TV box. Every few minutes the TV would lose colour and go pink/green, then sometimes reset itself. I tried different HDMI cables, even a different Android box, but nothing helped. Then I tried inserting the HDMI Splitter between the Android box and the TV - problem fixed, permanently. Its not being used as a splitter, but it 100% fixed the handshaking issue.I've used another of these splitters to send video from a satellite receiver to a 42" LG TV and a 42" Philips TV in adjacent rooms. The quality is superb, the split feed is indistinguishable from the original. The sound and video quality is excellent.I have also tested it to split the HDMI output from an Android TV Box to a Samsung TV and a AVermedia HD digital video recorder. In all cases it delivers totally lossless 3D quality, including full surround sound. This splitter achieves this without any problems and without any manually switching. The build quality is excellent and it is supplied with a separate UK power adaptor. This is better than some alternatives which rely on drawing power from the HDMI source. This approach upsets some devices like my Western Digital Media Player. There are three very bright LEDs to show the input and two outputs are connected and active. You might want to hide the splitter in a cupboard to avoid seeing the bright lights. An excellent device that has proven to be reliable after more than two years, and very high quality.

Good splitter for my needs but no audio
I have a blu ray player connected to my projector and TV so this splitter let me use 1 player for 2 displays. A projector is very critical of any picture issues simply because the picture is so big. This splitter causes no picture degradation at all so well worth the money. My only niggle is that it won't route audio (unless I'm missing something). I've changed the blu ray settings to hdmi and still no luck. For me it's not a problem as I use a cinema amp but if you just want to listen to the film audio on the TV then this could be a problem. Looks wise, its s tiny neat device and feels well made and can be placed anywhere as its so small. It needs a power supply too which is worth bearing in mind if you're like me and have 100s of power adapters. Duronic products are great value. I've also got a 3 way hdmi adaptor which cost me a fraction of others and works like a dream

Great product
Good quality product for a reasonable price. Had to buy this to replace a new more expensive Neet splitter which had a loose power socket on the box so signal kept breaking up. Previous splitters gave messages 'no hdmi signal &/or turn on STB' prior to picture when TV and Sky box turned on. A minor annoyance. This splitter however, provides an immediate picture to TV when set turned on. Quality of picture to bedroom TV is fantastic and is as good as the main TV. It is small and neat and the red lights are not too bright although can be easily tucked away behind the tv stand. Has an on/off button rather than a reset. Arrived promptly and well packaged.

By far the best!
Had an ongoing issue with running a 15m hdmi over ethernet to my new Yamaha YSP4300 receiver. Just couldn't receive audio or video from my Sky HD box in the loft.I tried 2 different Neet boxes, a DigitalClimax, a very expensive Octava, Cableson and a Cyp. Was about to give up but tried this Duronics as a last resort. As soon as I plugged it in my set up was finally working. Even unplugged it a few times to make sure it wasn't a one off. After months of trying to find a splitter that would work, I wish I had tried this first and not dismissed it because it was one of the cheaper ones, in fact I almost didn't order it. Some that I tried even cost well over £200 (Octava) but didn't work which just goes to show you that sometimes you don't get what you pay for!Build quality is great for £19.99 and I like the two status lights on the front. Only wish I had ordered the 4 way splitter as this is what I actually needed but wasn't convinced it would work. Hopefully they'll let me return it and pay more for the 1 in 4 out version.Very happy and highly recommended.

This is great.-but there's more,-use a controller
This splitter is excellent, and you can do more.In reading this, you must be wanting a splitter and HDMI cable. There is something else that I have not seen in other reviews. If you are splitting the output from a Skybox to your main Tv .and another in a second room, you may want to control your Sky from room 2.When you run your HDMI cable to room 2, run an RF cable with it, Assuming that Sky output is only wanted in room 2,(My other half mainly watches output from a Humax in Freeview HD in room 1 ),then you have full control of Sky.I have watched Sky in room 2 for some time via an Rf feed and a controller, but no-one would confirm that it would still work with an HDMI feed. Well,It works perfectly. This splitter is great, compact, weighty and powered,it delivers a perfect picture.15mtrs.and 0.5mtrs. of HDMI cable and some cheap RF cable and a sensor complete the job. When you add the 'magic eye' sensor, follow the instructions to the letter. You won't regret it. Obviously the Sky signal is available to both Tvs at the same time. At £12.99 plus del. a great buy.DURONIC HS12 splitterCSL-computer 15mtrs HDMI cableKabelDirect 0.5 mtrs HDMI cablePHILEX SLX Link
