Great gadge!
It’s the PERFECT gift for parents that want to give their children the independence of listening to their own playlists without providing them with a phone or tablet which is something we believe, at 8 year’s old, our daughter is not yet old enough for.It was simple enough to set up. I set up an account for my daughter on Spotify family then downloaded the app for the ‘Mighty Vibe’ device, I then synced to Spotify (once I’d chosen a few albums and playlists from Spotify to start her off with). When the time comes for her to choose more songs/albums we can add to her Spotify playlist on our phone/computer then sync with the app. It’s a GREAT modern day Walkman without having to actually buy and/or record albums. We bought it as it works with Spotify (and Apple Music although we don’t use it). It’s not the cheapest gift for sure - and we could have just given her one of our old phones, but this is perfect until she’s older. We’re a dying breed, but for those parents that don’t want to stick a ‘device’ in their kids’ hands at an early age then this IS the gift for them to choose and listen to their music choices. One downside is it could do with a small screen so you can see what you’re playing or to choose tracks - but maybe this is the beauty of it. We didn’t have that with our Walkman back in the day and I’d like to think we managed through life quite happily! You can play your albums’ track’s sequentially or on shuffle. Also worth noting is it’s very small - slightly bigger than the old iPod shuffle - but not much.ALSO - if you go to the gym, running etc it’s perfect to enjoy your music whilst keeping away from the distractions of a phone leaving you to focus on your exercise. All in all - a great bit of kit.

Great for listening to Spotify without a phone
Got this for my daughter so she could listen to Spotify. We didn’t want her to have her own phone yet, and a regular MP3 player would mean spending a fortune on buying songs she wants. This is great, set up takes just a few minutes using the mobile phone app. The unit feels really well made, and looks good. You sync Spotify or Amazon music playlists, and it then stores all the songs on the player. It will hold up to 1000 songs, which is plenty. You need to connect to your phone again every 30 days (to prove you still have a valid account I assume), which is long enough that it’s not a nuisance. You will need a Spotify premium account- the free one doesn’t work with it. Each account allows up to 5 devices to listen to music offline. You can’t use Spotify and Amazon music at the same, but this didn’t make any difference to us.The interface is a bit limiting due to the small size- you can play, pause, skip forward and back and skip to the next playlist. You can also shuffle songs. As there’s no screen, you can’t see what’s playing or coming up next. The pay off for this is that the thing is tiny- less than an inch square, and really light. It has a spring clip on the back to attach to your belt/sleeve etc.It has a standard 3.5mm headphone socket, but also works with Bluetooth headphones. Both options seem to work well, and sound quality is excellent. The battery is charged through the headphone jack with a USB cable. Battery life seems to be at or just under the claimed 5 hours, which is several days of use for my daughter. My only complaint is that it takes 30 seconds to boot up when you turn it on. This is a minor gripe on an otherwise excellent piece of kit. I wish Spotify/ Apple would allow Apple Watch to work in the same way as Mighty, because it’s really handy not to have to take a phone everywhere.I would definitely recommend this if you want to use Spotify without a phone for whatever reason.

Great little offline Spotify device for running
I wanted something I could use Spotify on offline without taking my phone out on a run. This is perfect. Pretty sime to set up and use. I've paired mine with some Jabra Elite wireless earbuds and it's great for running. It's not quite a 10 out of 10 product as I found when I clip it to the waist band of my shorts the bluetooth signal drops in and out so I either clip it to the neck of my tshirt or run with it in my hand. I'm a die hard Spotify fan and already had a premium account - you need one for this to work. You can't listen offline with the free version of Spotify.

Good idea but very 'needy' product
I've had this for a few months now and, although I like the idea of having something that's not dependant on the Apple ecosystem, I am finding this takes more time and effort to keep working than I'd like. The battery life is not good - it needs charging every other time I go to the gym and it goes for less than a month before refusing to play unless you sync it with your phone again (a faff that requires both products to be on WiFi and is therefore not feasible if you're already at the gym). Of note, it does not warn you when it needs syncing (e.g. by letting you know it will play now but not again or by sending a notification to your phone) it will just refuse to play at some point.

Great concept but terrible device
The idea of it is great but the accompanying app is buggy and not user friendly. I find that this device doesn't utilize its bluetooth software as well as it should. It very rarely is visible on the mighty app and is difficult to pair to other devices. You have to be conntected to a wifi network in order to pair the device which isn't ideal. When you manage to add playlists to the device, it does work well and sounds great. I wouldn't recommend this device to anyone. The app needs to serious work to be made more user friendly.

Great so far
I have just used this for the first time today and so far its performance has been faultless. It is super lightweight and you can barely feel it. I am a runner and just clipped it to the zip of my jacket and it was very unobtrusive. I don't understand the review about the clip not being strong enough for sports. My holds really well with no bounce.I would definitely recommend and it beats running with a phone. It is worth noting that it has three music quality settings so if you are an audiophile make sure you select the right one.My only wish is that it would allow you to listen to audio books too.
