Windy City Novelties LED Light Up and Walking Realistic Dinosaur with Sound

This thing is loud and annoying, so kids love it. It’s not my favorite toy by all means, especially when it gets left on and wanders around the house. If someone slightly annoys you, it would be a perfect gift for their kids! It does walk and light up and make noise. It does better on carpet than hardwood, but still makes tracks on hardwood. It’s a little cheesy but good for littles.

Five stars hands down! I bought three different ones, because my son had specifically asked for a 'robot dinosaur' and not knowing what kind of dinosaur, just figured, eh. When he opened these among HIS MANY MANY OTHER GIFTS he couldn't stop playing with these for hours! I am not even kidding! I just sat there with this huge smile on my face, and kept thinking: wow, wish they had things like that when I was younger! [Then again I likely would have been scared of them ha ha]. The only downside would be (like many of the other reviews) the roaring. It's not that it is loud or randomly plays when turned off. (Like really? Parents: if you find yourself annoyed with the noise, pick it up, switch the 'on' switch to 'off,' problem solved...). It's just that your child will love it so much that it will be loud and you likely wont want to stop your child from having so much fun! GREAT TOY!!! I absolutely recommend this!

My son got this for his third birthday from his favorite uncle. What else can I say? Talk about realistic! It's PURPLE and the size of a football with legs...and it WALKS. and makes the most ferocious ROARING SOUND at an impressive decibel. And the tongue and spines LIGHT UP with blinking rainbow colors. He loved it. Momma appreciated that all this action took up so much power that that AAA batteries that came with it ran out within 2 days of continual use.

Our 3 year old grandson LOVES this toy. His parents (our son and his wife) not so much. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! As Jackie Gleason used to say, "How sweet it is." Who is Jackie Gleason? Try GOOGLE, kiddo! Anyway, toy worked great right out the box. Lots of great blinking lights, really loud, annoying roar, and walks intermittently. Really a fun toy, IMHO.

Got this for my 3yr old daughter, who loves purple and dinosaurs. Huge hit! I placed a small bandaid with cotton over the speaker to make it a bit quieter.

There is only an off or on switch, so my kids love to turn it on and leave him going. But it is just as described, he walks, “roars” if you want to call it that, and lights up along his back and his mouth. He’s walked across our hardwood floors and cement outside. My kids are loving it, while I down wine from the stress it’s induced in me, lol.

This is actually a very high quality toy. I agree with other reviews, this would definitely much more expensive in other stores. All the kids at the birthday party wanted a turn playing with him lol. He was a huge hit with the kids 2-4 years of age.

I bought this for my Grandson to go with a book "How do dinosaurs go to slept". He was fighting going to sleep.He loves the book and now sleeps with the Dinosaur!!

Do not buy this toy. It roars over and over. The same loud annoying roar, and does not shut off unless you turn the button off. If it's on its non stop. The legs broke after about 30 minutes of light play. The legs jam up and won't move on one side. Letting it walk around the house it just slips on hard flooring and won't move out of place on carpet. Big disappointment and waste of money. Other than my two year old is super into dinosaurs so he likes it.

Pretty sturdy toy, I bought for my granddaughter who loves dinosaurs but once I had it turned on, the sound is so very real it scared her. We gave it to her friend until she gets a little older, she is only 2 1/2. it's a good product though

This was a hit with the four year old. It was smaller than I though (my fault as I didn't look at directions) but perfect size and everyone enjoyed the light up and walking figure...except for the small dogs. The roar was quite loud and non stop and I can see at some point the parents removing batteries for a while and mentioned that some of the reviews mentioned this - but the 4 year old loved this and loved pointing it toward a younger sibling to torment as older siblings must do. But once the younger sibling gets to play with it on his own - doubt this effect will last!

The 2 little boys (3 yrs old) loved their new dinosaurs. They have others because they're into dinos. But these were different for them. Even before opening the box (they were told to wait), they could see there would be lights!! oh my! the excitement in their eyes. The dino's came with batteries which was great!. So the boys couldn't get enough of the dinos. They light up, they growl AND they walk! These weren't expensive and they were a big hit. The 4 versus 5 stars....sometimes we had to push on the battery area for the dino's to turn on. I thought I had to replace the batteries, but it was the fit of the battery compartment. Not a big deal once we figured it out. The joy in the kids made this a big hit. Thank you!

Bought this for my 3 year old grandson and he loves it! It moves, makes noise, lights up, and is a dinosaur. What else could you want? When he opened it, his 10 year old brother lit up too and said "want to play with it together" which rarely happens with those two. It has been working for a few weeks now and he seems to get it out regularly to play with. We didn't find the noise too loud. He does sometimes let it walk through the house while he is occupied with something else which we tell him to shut it off then but otherwise, it isn't an irritating roar as some other reviewers mentioned. Although, with 3 kids under age 10, our house is rarely quiet so maybe that is why we didn't find it irritating.

Purchased for my 5 year old. Perfect revenge for that other parent who likes to buy obnoxious stuff for your kid... it is loud and it keeps on roaring and making noise the WHOLE. TIME. My kid LOVES it! You know anyone with kids and you want to make them pull their hair out? But this toy! It lights up too! Encourage the child to play with it while my Mommy is trying to sleep! Also great for kids who need more discipline... parents tend to ignore their kids? Give them this toy! Have the parents yelling at them in no time! At the very least, they will have their attention...
