Buckle up, buttercup, this will be a long read...
Alright. Let me make it perfectly clear here how I feel about this... CHANGE... in Van Houtte's choices and this Keurig coffee.Nearly a decade ago, I was introduced to the wonder that is Van Houtte's coffee. There was never a better coffee made, in my humble opinion, and my favorite choices were Dark Colombian and this fantastic Sumatra. Not being Canadian myself, I ordered whole bean coffee bags directly from Van Houtte in Canada and had it shipped directly to me in the USA. This worked fabulously and I enjoyed every steaming cup of tasty brew without a worry in the world.A few years back, Van Houtte chose the route of selling nothing but Keurig coffee containers to the USA. How do I know this? I called to find out why I couldn't order bags of coffee from them anymore. No whole bean bags, no ground coffee bags get sold to the US. ANYWHERE. I've looked. So I had in-laws mail me the coffee in sheer desperation. The last bag I received was broken open. I scrounged the bits and pieces of beans from a potentially unclean box that had surely been opened by USCIS agents... and then I was out of coffee again after a while. My workplace has a Keurig. It's a fine machine, makes lovely coffee. Back to sheer desperation, I finally chose to give in and ordered this Sumatra in its little Keurig cups. It is somewhat more affordable in comparison to my beloved Dark Colombian, which really isn't affordable at all.I made the first cup... and?Oh.My.Lord.WHAT is that! Bitter! Nasty! No! I can't! I just. I can't! It's horrible! This doesn't even remotely resemble the Sumatra I used to buy in the whole bean form! This is NOT even close to Van Houtte Sumatra from the whole bean, let me tell you straight up right now!I'm sorry, Van Houtte. Your choice to no longer sell bags of coffee to the USA has finally resulted in your losing a long time customer. I'm not going to buy this ever again, and I suggest YOU don't either, whoever you are. Unless you're Canadian. Then by all means, make sure you buy the whole bean!

No more headache triggers or jitters! 💕
I’ve been off caffeine for over 8 years as I’m so sensitive to it And it trigger my chronic daily migraines. After doing a lot of reading on how decaf coffee is processed, I chose this one since it it doesn’t use a chemical process. The Swiss waster process is perfect for me.I don’t get the jitters or a headache. Score! 😊👍

Way expired products and hiding the fact!
Avoid!! Shady practices! After a long search, I discovered I love the Sumatra coffee from Van Houtte.Upon receiving the item, I discovered the seller's sticker is conveniently placed OVER the Best By printed by the manufacturer. After tearing the sticker off both, I discovered it had expired in 2017. The "MA" might be March, which would mean it's a whole YEAR expired. On top of that, in my picture, I'm pointing to a circular patch of what is possibly hot glue, making it impossible to see what's underneath. I suspect this is so people can't take off the sticker. I also suspect why people are reviewing this item as tastes different than what they're used to. I'd say avoid this seller if you can!

Van Houtte Decaffeinated K-cup
I bought these for my wife as she is breast feeding and needed a good decaffeinated coffee. I have purchased numerous different coffees... whole bean, ground, and many different K-cups. Most of them liked something...umm let's see... flavor! She liked these very well, and I've even tried a few with my whiskey for a late night Irish coffee, and I won't put good whiskey in just any old coffee! It doesn't have all the bitterness most decafs have, but does have great coffee flavour without the caffein. No Worries!

Organic, Water-Processed, and Tasty! A Win-Win-Win!
This is a very tasty decaf! Smooth, good flavour, and not too strong, but also not weak. In fact, a pretty perfect balance. And, most importantly to me, organic! And water processed!A win-win-win!

The coffee is good, I've tried it three times
The coffee is good, I've tried it three times, two of the times the coffee cup seal broke causing coffee grinds to go all over my keurig coffee maker and also into my coffee. I don't know if it's not sealed properly or if the seal is too thick to be correctly punctured. May have been a faulty batch

A dark coffee well-named
I love this coffee. It brings back the aura of Napoli, a dark and dangerous place that gets under your skin and won't let go. This is not a coffee for tourists or for the faint of heart.

A bit confused
A bit confused....I have been wanting to try this brand for a while now but didnt want to spend so much on one type of coffee so I was excited to find the "VARIETY PACK" and made the purchase with good expectations bc of the other reviews. I have to say I was very disappointed when I opened the box. NO VARIETY!! I got Breakfast blend and Mexico. I got ONE French Vanilla...out of 24!?!? I was really hoping to try the flavored varieties they have (like chocolate raspberry truffle). I cant disrespect the coffee, its an enjoyable cup o' joe...just dont advertise VARIETY when you arent going to provide it.
