Well, I have been learning the recorder when i was 5 or 6 years old and I absolutely hated it as I cannot get my fingers to cover the holes completely to produce a scale without the recorder squeaking. I found this while mindlessly browsing the internet and decided to get my kid this instead of the normal recorder which we are all so accustomed to.As this was about the same price as a normal recorder and comes with a hard case, I thought it would be suitable to give this a try. Upon receiving it and playing it, I was impressed at the accuracy of the tones and hated squeaks and mis-cues were all eliminated by the silicone tabs which sits nicely above the holes.My Son (7 years old) had no trouble learning and playing a C scale within 5 minutes of picking it up for the first time.Recommended to Schools and parents who are considering to let their kids play the recorder.Nuvo makes other instruments as well and are worth checking out too.

This is am amazing recorder to play. Its great for kids to help them learn quickly.The keys over the holes help the player to cover the holes correctly. As a Recorder player myself I recommend it for all players who are learning.It sounds amazing. It has a rich clear sound and is very durable. It is easy to maintain with a wash under a tap.Its not cheap but it certainly doesn't feel cheap. It feels like you have something that sounds as good as it looks. Well worth getting one.

Ich habe mich für diese Blöckflöte nach der Empfehlung von einer Musiklehrerin aus Kanada entschieden, weil sie leichter zu spielen ist und die Kinder nicht enttäuscht von Misserfolgen werden. Die Klappenmechanik macht es viel leichter, die Töne zu produzieren. Nach ein paar youtube-Videos habe ich sie gekauft und auch eine von Mollenhauer aus Holz (auch geeignet für Anfänger). Mein 4-jähriger Sohn fand die Nuvo-Blockflöte super. Sie ist viel leichter zu spielen für ein kleines Kind, die Töne sind leichter zu treffen. Dann habe ich für ihn noch eine Flute Master App heruntergeladen und es ging los! Er spielt diese Blockflöte mit der App sehr gern. Ich hoffe, dass sein Interesse an der Musik sich weiter entwickelt, aber bis jetzt biete ich ihm die Blockflöte von Mollenhauer gar nicht an: sie ist wesentlich schwieriger zu spielen, als die von Nuvo. Klar, es geht hier nicht um eine klassische musikalische Ausbildung, aber an sich ist dieses Instrument gar nicht schlecht, besonders für blutige Anfänger. Ich kann diese Blockflöte gern weiter empfehlen.
