Great Bargain
These water filters replacements are much cheaper than I can find locally. Pretty easy to install. I'm glad they come in a two-pack so I can order once a year, have a spare and replace it when the warning light illuminates. No after-taste in the water or ice cubes or flavor detection at all. It does the job of a water filter at a fair price.

Great filter at great price. Installs in place of recommended brand filter from manufacture at a fraction of the cost. Fully satisfied with use. Works great. I noticed big improvement in water quality as soon as installed. I do recommend following the instructions of soaking filter for 15min before using. I did get a few pieces of carbon pieces from filter during this process.

My fridge is not modern, so it is becoming harder and harder to locate replacement filters. it is not available locally, so I have to rely on amazon to find the filter. the hardest part is finding one that fits. I have an old Maytag plus. I will buy this again.

Great substitute for name brand equivalent
For the first few years that I had my Maytag refrigerator, I always purchased the Maytag brand replacement water filters. They have always been rather expensive, so I started looking for a cheaper alternative. When I saw that I could get two of this off brand for less than the price of one Maytag brand, I thought it was worth a try. It looks exactly like the Maytag brand, fits exactly the same, and lasts just as long (my fridge has a light that goes on when the filter needs to be replaced, and this lasts the full 6 months, as advertised). So, works well, saves money. What more could you want?
