Silver in colour, this dainty and very feminine piece may not be Sterling Silver (and for those with allergies to base metals, that's really a shame), or real pearl, but it is genuinely pretty. The chain, at the end which holds the teardrop-shaped pearl, passes through the leaf-shaped loop at the end of the feature and, along with the extension chain at the back (for larger necks than mine), makes the necklace very customisable in length. Which is brilliant for me, because I have a single, silver-set sky blue topaz which I almost always wear, and the two will work well together if I leave this necklace long.I was surprised to note that the package came from the Solomon Islands, yet reached me in just sixteen days -- pretty impressive considering how far this item had to travel! All in all, I'm very impressed, although I received the package just half an hour ago and can only wait and see whether the coating on the metal wears off quickly. I will change my rating and review if my findings are negative. In the meantime, HIGHLY recommended.

Really lovely but the chain is much longer than is shown in the picture the pearl and leaf hang down on my chest and have a link put on so I can wear it at my neck

Exactly as shown in the photo. Only issue is, when you move, the necklace moves out of place. You need to get the balance of the dropping pearl right and then try not to move or it goes squint. Still lovely though but not quite as tight around the neck as shown. I need to wear a lower neckline top for it

The chain is too long for me. It makes the pearl hang too far down. It's very pretty and I'm sure I can make it fit better. I really like the design.

This necklace is quite pretty but after i wore it a few days i had an orange rusty ring around my neck. The dam chain was rusty so guess where it ended up? Yes thats right i threw it in the rubbish bin. Waste of money

The necklace itself is very beautiful, but the clasp is not attached to anything so it can't be worn as it's too small to slip on over your head. I'll be taking it to get fixed but it's a bit of a disappointment.
