MARVEL'S CAPTAIN MARVEL: THE ART OF THE MOVIE

I was not very familiar with Captain Marvel prior to the release of the recent film. This book is a production treasure for fans. Not only does it articulately describe the process through which the characters were visualized and created and re-created (which is a fascinating discussion in and of itself), but there are many fun historical tidbits relating to the characters, and how they tie in to the rest of the Marvel Universe. The book is gorgeous with full colored pictures and thorough explanatory text on the background and development/reasoning of this ground breaking character. It is a fun read whether you're a long time fan, new to the MCU or to this character. I didn't read any of the Marvel comics but have seen most of the MCU movies. The book is well written and a great value for the info it contains. If you love strong, complex female characters, or you're a comic fan this will be a great addition to your collection.

Perfect for fans of the movie who want more details into the world building process as well as excellent character studies like how the iconic mohawk came to be and the look of young Fury.

Beautifully designed, and put together. The imagery is fantastic, and gives you a glimpse into how the movie came together. Also shows you some things that didn't make the film, which is an added bonus. A must buy for anyone who is a fan of the film, or a collector of these particular series of Marvel hard covers.

I enjoy the art work, it certainly immerses you into the world of Cpt Marvel and scanning the book gets the reader more excited to see the movie!

A little bit expensive but the quality of the art and the overall feel of the book make it worth it! If you're somewhat torn just go ahead and get it! You won't regret it!

One of most favourite characters in Marvel Comics to date and I was so excited when I heard about them making a movie about Ms. Marvel / Captain Marvel's Carol Danvers as the love the Ms. Marvel and Captain Marvel comic books and when I saw this book was being released I ordered it straight away, the artwork and designs of the various locations and costumes are absolutely breath taking along with the details and homage paid from the books, this is 100% well worth purchasing because you will love as much as I did, perfect addition to any Marvel lovers collections whether it be Ms. Marvel, Captain Marvel, Avengers and/or X-Men.

There are some interesting images, some storyboard. It's cool, i have all books of MCU. Only two things are no good: 1) there is not the first concept that we saw at comic-con and 2) thers is nothing about the cat goose. why?

Another one added to my collection. This one is just as good as the others I have bought and is a great collectors item. Beautiful illustrations and images in vivid colour throughout the book. Highly recommended to anyone who is a Marvel fan.

Once again Marvel have put out another gorgeous book showing the art and process of how they make there fantastic films. I have yet to see Captain Marvel so I have not had a full look through at the book but the few pages that I have read our gorgeous. Delivery was excellent and quick as well as the packaging was great.

Real fan of Cap Marvel, this artbook is for you. Nicely done, color rich and great design. One star less: where is goose?
