Works.
My Rocket baby hurt himself and was limping. With bed rest, taking the elevator instead of stairs and limiting his walking and plus this thing he doesn’t look like he is in pain anymore. Plus the material is good quality and the size was perfect my dog is size small and weighs 20 lbs.

They have been very helpful!!
I've been very pleased with this product overall. My dog had a cruciate surgery and needed the extra support to assist in the healing process and help with joint pain. They are easy to put on and I haven't had any problems with them staying in place. The velco on them is very heavy duty and attaches securely. In the past, my dog has hated any sort of bandage or coverings on his leg, so honestly, I thought he would destroy these in the first couple days but he hasn't touched them. I attribute this to them actually allieving some strain and pain on his joints or otherwise he wouldn't have tolerated them. He wore out the first pair in about two months but I was still impressed with the durability of this product. The first pair was just a soft, flexible cuff with no reinforcement, but I recently ordered a second pair that came with small metal inserts sown into the inside. I'm not sure if this is a mistake or not. They were not listed in the product description but either way it is a much needed feature. I've now ordered a third pair and will update if they arrive with the extra supports as well. These braces were half the cost of some others here on Amazon and in my opinion are well worth the money.

Great addition to fight against lick granuloma
I'm using this leg brace as part of a lick deterrent system due to a lick granuloma on my labrador. So far it had worked really well. Here is the pros:This brace is made from what feels like wet suit material. It dries fairly quickly, has a little give and takes a licking. The velcro is very good, like industrial strength velcro. You get 2! And they are washable! Here's the cons:While it is easy on, it can also be easy off. I've fallen asleep for 30 mins and he's managed to snake it off. However, he's never been able to undo the velcro. After 2 weeks he's started to leave it alone when we put it on. He knows that it's the brace or the cone.Product will start to fray after a month or so, if you are dealing with a lick granuloma go ahead and but 2 sets. I'm getting ready to order my 2nd set today.Make sure you pair this with using the soft cone if you are going to be gone for an extended period, like taking a nap or taking a poop. This brace will try to come off if dog is rough-housing with family or friends unless put on pretty tightly. I usually have a sports wrap underneath of it, that seems to give it better traction. All in all this is a great weapon to have in the first aid arsenal. If you are dealing with a lick granuloma, I just want you to know that there are many others also fighting this battle. We are still trying to find the cause and are narrowing down to OCD or nebulous allergies. Keep up the good fight! And remember: Kennel, Cone, and Wrap. Exercise, Attention and Games.

These are a godsend
I love these sleeves and we’re on our second pair. My foster was hit by a car and has a shattered pelvis and broken femoral heads. He back feet knuckle under and these sleeves give his feet enough support to keep his toes up while he goes potty in the morning. Then I take them off and put on his splints. He tears them up pretty fast so I have to sew them a lot but that’s not because they’re not made well, he’s just hard on them. The Velcro is so strong that I have a hard time getting it apart sometimes because of arthritis. I don’t know what I’d do without them, they save his toes from being torn up. If you use them long term like us, they stay on better if you anchor the top strap above his hock. But I put casting cotton with vet wrap over it first or it rubs. Also don’t put them too tight, I’ve made his legs swell up by making them too tight. All in all they are wonderful. I tried the ones without metal in them and they didn’t help. These are a godsend, I’m so glad I found them.

Did not work
I bought this because my Rottweiler wouldn't stop licking his paw, which led to repeated infections. I hoped this would help, but they wouldn't stay on, so I had to return it.

It does its JOB!
On new years at some point my old lady got out! When I woke up her head was stuck in a fence !! We brought her back inside and then she escaped again and when I woke up she was limping! We got this delivered 2 days ago we do heating pad and ice and then put this on majority of the day and when she sleeps take it off! Our poor poor girl! She wouldn’t even put pressure on it and as soon as we put this on she’s been MUCH more active and moving
