Air Cleaner Intake Filter Kit CNC for 2004-2015 Sportster XL 883 1200 Sportster Aluminum

I looked at 5-10 of these exact same ones on Amazon for hours. This one had less complaints, with reviews spelled out and the pertinent information, rather than “it’s good” or “nice”. I followed a video online that I found because it comes with no instructions. The BIG takeaway here is save the gasket that bolts straight to the motor and OIL this filter. I’m a novice mechanic and was unaware it needed to be oiled. My buddies at work squared me away. I have put several hundred miles on it in a week and have found zero issues with it. Tighten the clear housing on the outside and use loctite on the bolts. Other than that, this is a solid air cleaner. I have literally gained several extra horsepower, my RPM’s have decreased significantly at higher speeds and it looks awesome to boot! Highly recommend this product!! Ride safe ladies and gents.

The air filter looks great, installs easy, and has given me no issues in the first 400 miles. It installs flush with zero issues, only recommendation is to use lock tight on all the small screws that hold the clear plate onto it. If you don’t they will vibrate off and you’ll lose them. They come fairly loose so don’t take a ride without locking them down.

Little to no instructions. Fairly easy to figure out. **Tighten screws on clear window** I failed to do this... all but one vibrated lose and fell out. Nearly lost the window. I replaced the screws and tightened but after first heat/cool cycle the plastic window shattered around all the screw holes. Disappointing

great for the price, no issues with product aside from losing almost all the small screws that attach the plastic because i didn't tighten them down enough before riding. wish there was a way to buy a replacement screw/bolt set....

Easy to install,quality materials and perfect design.

Looks good and feels decent but plexiglass looks like this after 1 day also will not fit S&S shorty super E carb unless you run longer bolts

Could be better.
