After searching through USB-C hubs and docking stations and shuddering at the cost of docking stations. I finally found this USB Hub. I have a MacBook Pro 16" M4 device and wanted to have one cable to connect it to my monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc.This was exactly what I was looking for. With 140W power pass through, it easily lets me connect my laptop to my devices. I also get full HDR support to my monitor at 60hz which is perfect as that's all my monitor does. :)I would recommend this hub over the pricier docking stations. It works well for me, I think it will work well for you.

This works great with my M4 Macbook Air. I was a bit confused at first as to which USB ports were supplying how much power. Tech support answered my question quickly and completely. Would highly recommend!

This connector was plug-n-play and seems solidly built. I’ve used all the ports except the SD card slot. All connections have worked flawlessly with 1 possible exception of (1 time) losing the picture on an extended monitor - while connected to my 2020 Macbook Air. That hasn’t happened again and could have been due to a number of other reasons.

I purchased this to use with my laptop. It works great for that. Pass-through charging works well as do all the other features. It's great for only having to plug one thing in and being able to get to work. But, I got the bug and bought a Mac Mini 4. When setting up the Mac Mini I discovered I need a few things, like a USB A port for my mouse/keyboard and equally important an SD card reader. So, I pressed the Plugable hub into service. I didn't connect the pass-through charging and plugged it into the Mac Mini and everything works great. As a plus, I can now have a 2nd HDMI monitor.I did wind up connecting a 4 port hub/A-B switch so I could connect an external camera, microphone and USB speaker to share these between my old desktop and the Mac mini while I get things setup. The point of this is the rear ports won't work for this, I had to use the front plug, But everything works great that is running off the Plugable hub.

I have been using this with a MacBook Air M4 Silicon, 10 GPU, 10 CPU, 16 Neural, 32GB unified and 1TB SSD. It has performed well as an attachment adapter for a Samsung external monitor through HDMI. I also have a Pioneer external BluRay R/W drive that I use it as an adaper for, as well as a thumb drive. Running all of these at the same time the unit warms up a little but does not approach whst I'd call hot.

Like other long-suffering Mac laptop owners, I needed a hub to make the useless 1 available port (when charging) on my MBP work in real life. This hub offered the best balance of features and price for me, meeting my requirements of pass-through power delivery, 4K/60 HDMI support, plus the usual combo of old-school USB (one with PD) and USB-C. Plus it looks good and appears to be solidly built.Except:—Too-short cord: Like many, I raise my laptop on an eye-height stand for daily use. The ~7” cord that must be connected to the laptop to work will leave the hub stupidly dangling. Unless you have some sort of 2-tier riser.—Laptop charging: While the PD seems to keep up with laptop power needs during actual use, when I put the computer to sleep overnight and come back in the morning, it’s not fully charged. Maybe this is part of Apple’s battery health thing, but strikes me as weird.—Just one usable USB-C port if you’re using PD. But 3 legacy USB? Couldn’t we split the difference?—Price: I’m sorry, but I have trouble justifying close to $50 for a hub. Even assuming quality components inside, feels a bit…greedy.

This actually worked on my Macbook Pro M3. Many of these devices don't work so I was reasonably surprised and impressed when it turned out that this one actually completely worked.
