Heavy sturdy
Perfect size to take extra water when camping or to the woods or on the river. It is a perfect size and not too heavy and the handle makes it easy to carry around. Plastic is thick and durable so will not crack easily like other brands we have had in the past. We got one of the rechargeable pumps that set on the top to dispense the water and that works out really slick. We love the screw on top so we know it is always closed before we travel. Nice jug and we would purchase again.

Great when re-purposed as a bank
This fulfills my quest to find a bank that can store pocket change collected over a period of time. I had owned the novelty "Coca Cola" shaped bank to hold my pocket change. After numerous moves, many trips to the local coin star to empty and twenty years, it disintegrated. Those novelty banks are no longer sold that I can find, so I sought to purchase something else I could re-purpose to store my pocket change, that was easy to see the contents to judge when I had several hundred dollars collected, and I could pickup and carry to the local coin star. This water bottle looked ideal. I purchased it and removed the cap to insert my first batch of coins from a decorative jar on my dresser that holds about $100 of loose change. It works perfectly and I am happy to be able to store my pocket change once again where it is manageable. It is amazing how quickly the pocket change adds up.

Good quality and good price.
It just fit my water dispenser. Easy to hold and it did not leak or split water out when I put into my water dispenser. And the price are good. Recommend to anyone.

Great Easy-To-Handle Bottle For All Sorts of Water Storage Tasks
This is a handy sized bottle to have around the house. For drinking water, it's way easier to hoist into your dispenser versus those industrial sized 5-gallon bottles. Fewer strained backs and tennis elbows. The sturdy molded-in carry/lift handle is its best feature. I found this bottle is perfect to use as a drainage collector for a (Whynter ARC-12s) Portable Air Conditioner unit. By installing a simple hose-end-to-brass-nipple and about 24" of reinforced half-inch vinyl hose, it's easy to make your cheap Non-Pinguino air conditioner functional all-day long without the unit shutting down due to over-filling of the tiny internal water trays. Then you simply dump the water when you see the water is near the top of the bottle. No fuss, no muss. The bottle is sturdy molded of fairly robust polycarbonate plastic. Of course, if you leave it out in the sun or bang it hard against bricks or concrete, it will eventually crack; but with "normal care and handling" the bottle can take plenty of bumping and it will stay together functionally for an indefinite period of time.

Excellent jug
I bought this to sit atop of my ceramic pot, as ceramic is a natural cooler, being a 3 gallon it’s easier to handle for an old broad like me. Would recommend highly.

Overpriced
Unless polycarbonate is expensive to produce I would say this product is overpriced. I think it will last but it is expensive thus the 3 stars.

Bought two bottles - hoping for the best
I read polycarbonate bottles are much better than the plastic/PVC type - spent $60 for two.So far so good. There's no plastic odor or funny taste from the water. I get the water from my neighborhood water shop. TDS meter reads a value of 6, comparing to my tap water which reads 285.I've had these bottles for two weeks, these are three gallons, I handle them gently. They are easy to manage than the five-gallon ones. There are cheaper ones out there, I went with these, no regrets.I recommend this product.
