IntelCore™ i7-14700K Desktop Processor 20 cores (8 P-cores + 12 E-cores) up to 5.6 GHz

Edit: It is my Asus board. I was getting latency spikes and freezes when acceleration needed to happen in windows. I was also getting severe latency when more than 3 USB devices were plugged into the board.I changed from my Asus z790 D4 Strix to my old trusty z690I Aorus Ultra Plus ddr4 and ALL the issues (other than degradation that already took place) are solved. This is not my first asus board that kills components with terrible vrm regulation. This will be my last Asus board.Shoutout to Intel support. They are amazing to deal with. Literally one phone call, & 20mins later my rma was approved and a crosship approval also issued. Amazing. Seriously.It doesn't make sense that both CPUs (new 13700k and 14900k) would die in literally like 2-3 months and have the same symothoms. It is not just ring that collapsed on the two new 13700k and 14900k. Its the memory controller from my observed behavior. The first 13700k was oxidized which is why the entire chip died. I'll need to get my hands on a ddr5 board to test my theory. I'll make another edit when I do.Original Review: All of them will eventually die, Ring collapse is something ive seen on three 13th-14th chips. First a 13700k, then another, and now a 14900k.The first 13700k ran auto voltages and was delidded. It Ring collapsed due to voltage spikes on the old microcodes (I presume). My second 13700k (also delidded) collapsed for seemingly zero reason. It was ran at below 1.35v on adaptive voltages at all times on a static clock speed. My 14900k (which i left 100% stock with paste on my aio) collapsed on 1.25v set static (vid and vrm), with a voltage protection cap of 1320 in the uefi. 1.25v is core voltage.1.35vddqtx1.25v-1.35V (MAX) Vccsa^ These voltages were ran on all of them. They all died.No matter what you do, they will die. There is something SERIOUSLY wrong with this architecture. My 12900KS had ZERO issues with ring clock stability. I will likely ask for a refund and buy it once more. Ironic how things worked out.Edit: When these CPUs work and are in a board that works properly. It is by FAR, the best experience I've ever had on a desktop. Monolithic architecture is something that you cannot beat. The instant feeling of everything you do. It just works, and it works amazingly. Thats why ive had 3 of them and keep gong back. Nothing else comes close. Specially when you go to windows 10 LTSC Iot with e cores off. Its a different world. Trust me.

Upgraded from a i5 12400f and immediately saw the difference, for the price this is a very good cpu and actually compares to alot of higher end cpus from what i've read. It runs hot but i manage my temps just fine with a small dual fan cpu cooler with 2 92mm fans. From what i've read, anything after this should need liquid cooling but this one definitely doesn't.

This cpu is good all around processor for gaming, modeling and cad work. I do some gaming also and it is great.I have no problem keeping this cool with a Phantom air cooler.

I recently upgraded from the i5-13600K to the Intel i9-14900K, and I couldn't be happier. Performance-wise, it's an absolute powerhouse, handling everything from intense gaming sessions to heavy productivity tasks without sweat.It runs much cooler compared to the previous generation. My 240mm AIO easily keeps it under 80 degrees Celsius, even under heavy load. I rarely see temperatures above that 99% of the time.If you're looking for a high-performance CPU without excessive heat issues, the i9-14900K is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended.

When I saw online that the CPU was 30% better than my i7 9700k I was very hesitant to buy until recently I got the oppurtunity when my expensive motherboard broke. It turns out this is not 30% faster... but more than 300%. The benchmarks I get are insane and the price was only 50 more dollars than when I bought the 9700k brand new around 2020.

Caution, these are highly targeted for refund scams. I don't know if they're saran wrapped or not cos i have a prebuilt pc and wanted to build my own this time. mine only had two stickers. Mine had a used cpu in it still with thermal paste and I don't know what it is the letters seem corroded. This supposedly came directly from Intel. But who knows. Still gave 5 stars cos its not the items fault but the people.

I own three , Intel 14700kf's and this processor runs slower then an intel13700kf and just above an Intel 12600k.I would not buy this product unless you want to take a chance like I did most likely I'm going to send this back because it's not right something's wrong with it I'm not sure if it's a company that sell defective stuff as new but that's what it seems like right now.I'll repost once it's figured out but right now I would not buy any processors from this company it was shady when I first ordered it and it didn't show up it was supposed to be on a overnight order didn't show up for 3 days box look tampered with there was no sticker or paperwork with it so I am very skeptical about this product and you should be too.Thank youChuck Taylor
