Surprisingly easy to move from place to place! Also was very easy to assemble
One thing I was pleasantly surprised by is how portable this thing turns out to be. You just lift the loop up off the cradle- it's not very heavy; carry it to the new location, lean against a wall, go back for the cradle. Both parts are perfectly easy for 1 person to move.I was also pleased with how quickly and easily the assembly went.Like putting together a LEGO project. The plastic curved pieces make a satisfying "snap" when they go together (much like LEGO) so that you know you've connected them correctly.Young cat here is getting the hang of it, after a couple of weeks I notice he gets on all by himself sometimes. Doesn't use it for long at a time but I am hopeful. Mature cat ignores it, as expected. ;)I would say the only tricky part of assembly was being very, very careful about laying down the sticky-bottom felt pads on the running surface. That adhesive is really strong, so you want to align them just right.Once a pad starts to go on crooked, you've got to catch it right away and peel it back up before too much of it has made contact, or it'll be a bear to pull off.If your hands shake at all or you are more than usually OCD about perfect results, you might want to enlist a second person to assist with that part of the build.

My siamese boys love this thing!
I recently moved into a pretty small apartment after previously having a lot of property to walk my cats. I was really apprehensive about buying this for them, but needed to give them an outlet for energy since they are pretty active. What if they didn't like it? Once this wheel snaps together, I cannot imagine it would be very easy to disassemble for returns. Do I wanna take that risk?...It's a relief to say I'm glad I bought it. My boys FIGHT over using it! Yes it does wobble a little and I'm not sure why, but it doesn't seem to bother my cats at all. My smaller one runs at full speed on it with no issues.I appreciate its streamlined appearance and lightweight build. It's very easy to move around for sweeping and vacuuming; I simply scoot the base with my foot. The sound is much MUCH quieter than many of the other cat wheels I've seen elsewhere.Lastly, I read another reviewer say something about the smell of the pads, and for the life of me cannot figure out what the heck they are talking about. There is no smell. I have a VERY sensitive sense of smell and am the type that gets smell-induced migraines. This product does not put off any odor; not even the felt pads. Speaking of, I really like that the pads can be removed and changed out as needed. I didn't know when I purchased this that it would become a favorite scratcher/stretcher for my cats before walking or running. 10/10 would buy again!

Skunk approved!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Bought this wheel for our skunk on vet recommendation to increase her exercise to help with seasonal constipation, and while it fixed her constipation we now have to feed her more, as she's addicted to her wheel to the point where we need to remove it at night or she won't stop. Assembly was definitely a two person job in particular putting down the track padding. It is decently hefty in weight and awkward to take on and off the track, but that's a personal problem as not all animals take to this wheel as quickly and as intensely, our cats are not the biggest fan of it when we tried to acclimate them to it.

Great excercise; my cats love it
I just purchased this for my twin 15 week old kittens to burn off some energy and IT'S GREAT. You do have to put it together but it's easy and no tools were required. I did use a cat toy to get them to use it the first few days, now my one kitten randomly runs and runs, the other kitten not as often but it's fun to watch and they really love it! Would Recommend for any new Kitten! PS: My vet said train them while they are young

On a Roll
She uses it daily! I like how simple the wheel is, no fuss, no muss. I don't detract a star for this, but as mentioned in other reviews, you'll have to rip off the sticky foam pads in order to disassemble the wheel. The foam pads aren't designed to be reattached. It is a little wobbly but not enough to make it unstable. I was aware of these things before purchase and I'm still quite happy with the product overall. My cat took to it within hours of set-up.

My cats can’t get enough of this. Pleasantly surprised!
8 out of 5 stars. I’d looked at similar products for quite a while. They’re not inexpensive, but this was a great purchase. Wanted exercise for our older cat and some relief from/for the kitten who just can’t run and jump enough usually all over her sister and us and in the middle of the night. They were both all over this before I even had it assembled. It’s not as noisy as some reviews would have you think. Assembly was dead easy. Exterior does look ‘plasticky’. I ordered the exterior felt pads from the manufacturer site for $20 plus shipping and the wheel looks ‘more finished’. Wish I’d bought this earlier! Solid purchase.

Really nice Cat Wheel
The easiest thing I’ve ever had to assemble. Thank you for that. It’s very nice looking and runs smoothly. I chose this large one because my cat weighs 16 pounds. Now I just have to get my cat to like it. I highly recommend this cat wheel.

So far…
… The news is mixed. It went together very easily and seems sturdy and works as advertised. Right now it's on carpet and not very noisy but when I had it downstairs on tile it was still minimally noisy. At this point, my kitty has not gotten interested and is a little bit timid. I've tried waving a toy over the track, but so far she hasn't been enticed. I'm certainly going to give it more time and perhaps try the suggestion of one of those pasty cat treats that come in a tube, though I don't want to mess up the walking surface in any way that might be permanent.I plan to revisit this review after we (Natasha and I!) Have had more time with this item.
