This is a great keyboard. The "feel" of the keys is good and they're fairly quiet as well (so if you like a clickety click keyboard this might not be for you). The wrist rest is very comfortable and the keyboard as a whole feels very solid and well made.The backlighting for the keys isn't the brightest but it's perfectly acceptable.It is expensive but it seems very well made so I assume that translates into good longevity.Set up was quick and easy and the software (GG Client from Steelseries) is pretty straightforward to use.

Switches are silent. The software allows you to customize everything (how many mm to actuation) This keyboard has porous keys if you compare with the older model, makes it hard to make mistakes. The fact that you can remove the cable from the keyboard makes it easier to clean, I don't have to go behind the PC anymore. Feels very good, best switches. Do not use lowest actuation point it is so low it makes it almost imposible for a human to use. As a tech enthusiast I would even say there is no better keyboard for what it does. The price is high, that is the only inconvenient, 200£ should be a wireless price. Will wait for a wireless steelseries that works when plugged in as well (charging). This would make my streaming setup cleaner.

Great keyboards are the steel series. But pricy. There are plenty other options. Including cheaper steel series. But this is my second one. And still like them. Note different switches do make a difference. My previous steel series 5. Had blue switches and was quite clicky.

The keyboard is fine, but be aware that the system monitor app that is shown working on the keyboard is no longer working/removed by steelseries.so it is false advertising IMOPI am considering returning it on those grounds.

The keyboard so far works amazing, really happy with it, the key are quiet and the weight gives a quality feel to it, the keyboard is a matt brushed aluminium in black however the picture looks more steel but I'm happy either way.I was alittle disappointed with the sellers choice to not cover the item up and they also decided to stick the labels all over the keyboard box it self, as I said disappointed but over all everything I'm happy with the keyboard it works great and it's exactly what I ordered. Good seller I would still recommend.

this keyboard is a dream to use. the actuation is great for multiple uses, it feels sturdy and sound lovely to type with, the RGB is clear and smooth and a great brightness. its easy to just plug and play, but i downloaded the steelseries software so i can edit the lights and actuation of the keyboard.

This KB has no way of saving a custom RGB LED configuration. The Windows software (GG.exe) is a resource hog, and must be loaded at startup for a single configuration to be used. Steelseries saved about $2 by not fitting on-board non-volatile RAM, so GG has to be used in Windows if you want anything but the xmas-tree-light presets.Things are a little better in Linux, since the (free and elegant) OpenRGB software allows many configurations to be saved to the PC's drive, and they can be loaded automatically on startup.Otherwise, it's a lot of money for a rather gaudy keyboard with poor key-feel and no Wi-Fi.Macros work, but are very slow to get going (I assume to stop gamers being banned).I wasn't impressed, and sent it back for a refund.

I am giving this keyboard three starts for a number of reasons - is it well made? Yes. But this comes at a cost, this is an extremely expensive keyboard. A feature that made me buy this keyboard was that it is advertised as having the cpu and gpu temps displayed on the screen. This is a feature that SteelSeries has removed and is not longer possible. This is clearly on the images of this product on Amazon so is extremely misleading and false advertisement.Secondly, this is advertised as a quiet mechanical keyboard with a sound dampening foam layer. Make no mistake about it - this is in no way a quiet keyboard and is very clacky when typing on.Thirdly, the wrist pad is cheap and flimsy. I previously had another wrist pad and it was above soft leather with an aluminum back. This is plastic with a very thin piece of rubber on top.Another very annoying gripe is that the RGB is not bright at all. In fact sometimes when playing during the day it’s hard to even see.For a €200+ keyboard these criticisms should absolutely not be present.I will reluctantly keep this board. But I have some buyers remorse.
