During the wet spring seasons, it’s been difficult in the past to decide when to open windows at night, but this device simplifies that process with its sleek display and easy-to-read data. Previously, I had to juggle multiple apps to compare dew points, but now I can make informed decisions instantly.The Meter Pro is a notable upgrade from the basic SwitchBot meter, as it allows you to view data for two separate areas at the same time. This feature is particularly useful for those who need to monitor humidity levels closely. Additionally, the battery life is impressive, expected to last 6-12 months or more, which is consistent with other SwitchBot devices I own.While the device effectively presents and manages humidity data, I would appreciate a feature that could open and close heavy windows or French doors automatically. This would further streamline my smart home setup; I’ve been generally quite pleased with the SwitchBot ecosystem.Overall, I highly recommend this device is you’re seeking a reliable and simple way to manage humidity in their home. Its integration with other SwitchBot products and its ability to solve a long-time problem made it a valuable addition to my complicated smart home.I’ll also point out that it integrates seamlessly with Alexa, Siri and also Home Assistant.

The Thermometer is a pretty solid gadget for keeping track of temperature and humidity. The 3.6-inch screen is nice and clear, so you can easily see both indoor and outdoor conditions. It's been great for monitoring my home and garden. The design is simple, and setup was a breeze. Overall, it’s a handy device for anyone wanting to keep an eye on the climate inside and outside, and it’s definitely worth the price.

We are turning our 3rd garage into an indoor vegetable garden and so we are looking at temps to see what sort of heating/cooling we might need for it. We bought this set to monitor temps both inside the home and in the garage. We also bought a second monitor to have outside the garage to compare inside/outside the garage.After 1 day it seems to be working OK, though the app loses connection for the sensors periodically. At least the display goes blank. Fortunately, the base unit retains about 2 months locally and so when the app finally wakes up it downloads the data, where it's stored for 2 years.The instructions had more QR codes than writing almost. The QRs took me to various "help" articles. most of which weren't particularly helpful. Though the set comes with only 1 remote sensor, it can connect 2 of them. However, the base unit, unlike others I looked at (and I didn't realize this while researching) only displays one remote sensor and that's annoying. You have to go into the settings on the base unit and select the other sensor to see it's properties. Then you can't see the first.The setup of the app is fairly much undocumented, though not hard. Took a bunch of time looking for instructions on how to get the clock and date showing correctly, but never found how to. Turns out, once you have the app connected for a while it's automatic.Overall it seems a good set, but I can't give it 5* because of the display lacking all sensors, lack of good setup instructions, and the random bluetooth disconnection.

The media could not be loaded. I originally came to know about Switchbot through their automated curtain closure. Since them I am using one Switchbot product or the other. Specific to this Thermometer, I used it for more than a month now. While I configure it to measure Temp, Humidity, Absolute Humidity, Dew Point and VPD every ten minutes, its battery performance is so far so good. You can refer the screenshots for specific measurements. I validated reading with another thermometer I have and its accurate. I liked its alert functionality and you can see in the video on how it works. Since switchbot comes with latest matter protocol, I integrated with Google and Samsung Smart things to control my indoor humidifier and Temp to keep the comfort level and VPD helped set appropriate water vapor level for proper plant growth.As an added bonus, you can store data for 2yrs on board and export into a CSV format for any additional analysis or opt to store data in the cloud for historical analysis.Overall I an please with its performance, price and will recommend it for any one in the market for a reliable thermometer.

No backslash light but it is perfect for bedroom!!This one comes with a meter and a sensor, so each meter can actually detect 2 room’s temperature and humidityThe big concern for me is that winter too dry with heat 24x7 on, my skin is super itch and I need a solution that works with iPhone and HomeKit. This is it.Good app support , easiest way to add new device, unlike other brand, add device no need using QR code. I also order the humidifier to work with my meter to dynamically control the humidity of my roomIt is more than a meter, it is a central hub for smart home!

SwitchBot did it again! The new Meter Pro with Matter hub mini is awesome. It syncs very well with Apple HomeKit (of course, it works with non-Matter services too). The nice big screen is a plus. I love how it has an outdoor sensor as well, so you can see inside temperature and humidity levels as well as the outside temperature and humidity. The outdoor sensor can be placed anywhere. There is also an included strap that allows it to be hung on a hook. The Meter Pro has a built-in adjustable stand as well. I have not had any connectivity issues since installing either. I highly recommend SwitchBot products. I was not paid and did not receive this product for this review. I bought this on my own to go with my SwitchBot ecosystem. I previously had the regular hub mini, so this was also an upgrade.
