Better than rubber imo
I didn't want a rubber type mat so I went for this one. Looks good in my man cave, could be a bit thicker but that's being picky.

Amazing quality, looks amazing, had to buy some double sided tape as used it on carpet in son's bedroom and kept moving but great with the double sided tape my 16yr old son loves it goes great with his darts set up.
