Top of the line home roaster!
What an amazing roaster. I upgraded from the SR540 and now have total control over the roast profile and process. I was also looking at some drum roasters but ended up getting the Kaffelogic because there is no warmup time and it roasts quickly so i can knock out a roast in the time it takes to brew and drink a cup of coffee. In fact, it is so easy to use that i can sit back and enjoy the cup while it is roasting.I looked at a handful of other home roasters and i am glad i got this one. The coffee is noticeably better and i am getting more consistent roasts.

EASY to use
i have a Kaffelogic that i brough from show room coffee not through amazon 1- works GREAT,2- had to have the chaff chamber fixed was stuck called they sent me new one right away. use the 12 profiles or hook up to studio. If you get it go for the extra $$ and get the BOOST KIT.3- not made in China . 4-can do back to back roasts and it is rated not only for home use but rated for professional use. I LOVE IT!!

Great sample roaster!
Bought this from the Kickstarter and couldn't be happier. I have only roasted around 30 lbs. of green coffee so far (all from Happy Mug) but have not experienced any issues. The device is heavy and seems made of quality materials. It is extremely easy to get great roasts just using the default profiles out of the box. The ability to create custom profiles with their software is a great bonus! Without the Boost module it is limited to roasting ~3 oz at a time and each roast takes at least 12 minutes. This is great if you just want to experiment and roast coffee for your own consumption but if you plan to give coffee away to friends or any sort of higher volume you will want the Boost module.
