Great item. The instructions are little bit involved but not too bad. To find the manual you have to scan a QR code and download a PDF as there is no manual in the box.Then you connect direct to the ticker boxes wifi hotspot. Then you can get to the units IP admin page which is 192.168.4.1.On that page you then set up the wifi connection to your home network and then allow whatever controls your IP assignment on your network to give the ticker box a unique IP address. It will flash up on the ticker box briefly. If you don't get it in time just unplug the ticker box and when it starts up it will flash it again.From there put that IP address into your browser and you can set up all of your tickers that you want to display. It uses the codes from Yahoo Finance to display the correct data. For instance, if you want NVIDIA Corporation, then you just put in NVDA. For LINK/USD, put in LINK-USD. Pretty straightforward, except I couldn't find an exhaustive list that Yahoo maintains. I know that they have 10,088 cryptos listed though so you should be able to find what you want. I managed to add MOODENG-USD for instance and that's not even on Binance yet.And that brings me to my only complaint. For cryptos with a lot of decimals this won't be able to display them. As it can only display to 2 decimal places max. It would be good if this was updated in future firmware but I won't hold my breath. It does still show the percent gain or loss though so you aren't entirely blind.Overall I'm really happy with this item as it keeps me informed of the securities I want to be aware of at a glance without having to keep a bunch of charts open. And it looks great too. The brushed aluminium looks darker in real life which I prefer. More like a shade of gunmetal grey. I'd definitely recommend this.
