Assuming you are referring to the battery life. Tile says up to 3 years. However, there are U-tube videos how to replace batteries.

Q: Can I find the tile other than making the tile beep? Something like having the app point toward the tile from 200 feet away.

Q: Why have you gone back to a non-replaceable battery? That makes no sense

The nonreplaceable batteries are more Earth friendly than replaceable batteries. Over the three-year period the number of replaceable Tile Tracker batteries going into landfills will be much greater than one Tile Mate at its EO. Tile Mate and Slim battery is rated for three years, both devices are 100% recyclable, thus should never be in landfills.
