The liquid highlighter by Sculpted by Aimee arrived in a branded cardboard box and is contained within a 25g container with a twist open lid and a soft cushion tip applicator. There are a range of shades available including opal glow (the one that I have tested), golden glow and copper glow. I love the opal glow shade and I feel like it particularly suits my pale complexion.The liquid highlighter is easy to apply with the soft cushion applicator which is ideal for dabbing the liquid onto facial areas but I did find it easier to blend with my fingers or a brush rather than the cushion itself. It was easy to control how much you applied and the applicator was precise. I would even say that you could use the colour as a subtle eyeshadow as well.The texture of the liquid highlighter is creamy without being greasy and the colour can be both blended and built up depending on the effect you are trying to achieve – however remember you don’t need a lot of create a strong effect, a little goes a long way. I thought that the results were quite natural looking and the smooth, satin finish with slight shimmer was nicely effective. The highlighter gave a glowy appearance and felt lightweight on my skinThe formula is well pigmented and is long lasting with good coverage. It is very natural looking and I’m pleased with the results and didn’t have any adverse reactions to using the highlighter. The liquid highlighter is 100% vegan, not tested on animals and is Leaping Bunny certified all of which is a fantastic ethos. Priced at £18 (with an additional 10% voucher available) at the time of reviewing, I think this is an excellent product and I would definitely recommend it.

I have normal to dry skin. I had no adverse effects while wearing this.This highlighter is slightly warm toned. It is a light and pretty colour, but it is very sparkly. It is easy to spread onto skin and blend out. It has a sheer consistency once applied and is easily forgotten.The bottle is bullet shaped and looks sleek. However, the applicator brush is huge. It is hard to remove from the bottle and requires a strong pull. A lot of product sticks to the applicator so I find it impractical to use. Better to use your fingers or a makeup brush to apply.Overall, I like the highlighter itself. I think it is a tad bit expensive.

Super easy to dab and blend, this adds a soft and dewy glow to my skin without being over the top (as some highlighters can be). I prefer a more natural look and this enables that nicely, with the ability to layer up when you fancy something more dramatic. So easy to toss in your handbag, and great for touch ups on the go. Highly recommended.

I love this brand and use several products in my everyday makeup. I was really excited to try this, and found the applicator very nice to use, and the product blends in well. There is a strong glitter to it however, which obviously creates the shimmer effect, but I find it too glittery for daytime wear, it's not a look I really want. Secondly it doesn't layer well with other products, so wearing it over or under foundation gives a caked on effect.I also got the opal tone because my skin is fair but it's actually very pale when applied. Not sure on this one unfortunately.

Nice liquid highlighter. Easy to apply to skin and then dab and blend into desired areas that you wish to highlight. A little does go a long way and leaves a lovely glow and a flawless finish. It really does feel like the premium product that it is.

I must say I was not expecting this outcome! I've not come across a highlighter applicator quite like this, it's just like a lip gloss wand, making application super easy and precise.The formula is incredibly creamy and blends effortlessly into my skin. I love how it spreads evenly without any fuss. All you need to do is add a few dabs (a little goes a long way!) to where you'd like to highlight and blend. For better results, you can either blend with your fingers or use a more finer brush.Expect a sheer, natural finish, that doesn't look oily or cakey (even if you're using it on top of a full coverage foundation). It gives my skin a healthy, radiant look without being overpowering. I use only one application (for me, that's the look I really love) but you can easily build it up for a more intense glow. The sheen it provides is just perfect, subtle but luminous.Overall, very pleased with the results, would happily recommend.

You only need to use a really small amount to achieve a nice healthy glow. I just dab a little of the product to my cheeks and blend with a brush to get an even distribution of the product. My skin looks healthy and radiant all day.A great product from one of my favourite make up brands.
