Best rechargeable brand hands down! These will last you years!
Eneloops are some of the best rechargeable batteries ever made! If you want to make the intelligent choice, switch to rechargeables but don't choose a brand that makes other batteries, they have no interest in their rechargeables working well b/c they sell non-rechargeables as their main business. Hint: the 2 main battery manufacturers' rechargeables are pure TRASH in my opinion!Panasonic may make non-rechargeables but it's a small part of their market. I have AA Panasonic rechargeable batteries that are over 20 years old and still hold a charge. The Eneloops show similar quality and longevity. If you want to know one thing you can do that will save you money in the long run AND help the environment, move to rechargeables and choose Eneloop. But don't just take my word for it, public opinion agrees. These are a solid investment.

Great batteries, I've bought 300+ over the years
Way, way, way cheaper than buying disposables! Last for years. In 10 years, I think I've only had 4 go bad. Extremely high quality, made in Japan (not China!). Better for the environment, better for your wallet (in long term), so these are a no-brainer.

Awesome !
Excellent rechargeable. You might wanna skip the 4 pack or 8 pack because I tried that. I always need more. You may as well order a multi pack from the start.

Tested around 790-820mah. Apparently not 2100 cycles - more like 150-600
I tested these on a decent Opus bt c3100. I didn't do the math, but they seemed to average about 790-820mah.I think I had one battery measure low, at around 780mah.I knocked a star off because apparently they're more like 150 cycles, not 2100:"That number (2100) is based on highly outdated protocols from 2011. In 2017, the protocol was changed to reflect real usage and that number dropped dramatically to 150. Look at the small print in the 4th Amazon slide....Can eneloop be charged up to 2,100 times?A: The estimated battery life (number of cycles) for eneloop was initially based on the test conditions specified in the IEC standard (IEC61951-2 2011, Section 7.5.4.1), suggesting up to 2,100 charging cycles. However, the IEC standard was revised in 2017 to more stringent test conditions that better reflect real-world usage. Under these updated conditions, the number of cycles is approximately 600. The actual longevity of the batteries also depends on usage patterns, as the discharge capacity gradually decreases with the number of charge cycles."Of note, higher in the Q&A, there's another entry about recharge cycles. In that one, it merely admitted that protocols have changed and the number is now less -- without mentioning the new number. Looks like they were still trying to be less than honest when they started writing the Q&A."IMO, a reputable, class-leading company, shouldn't lie or be deceitful like that. Also, in the past, I've had bad luck with Eneloop Pro AAAs.Overall it probably doesn't matter that much in real world use for me. I charge these maybe 1-2x per year, so whether they theoretically last 75 years, or 600 - I'm sure they'll deteriorate long before then.
