Nice camera the remote works

The camera offers outstanding value for money, so why not 5 stars? Well, simply because all the advertisement and description describes a camera capable of shooting 720p at 60fps. It can't do this. The two options are 1080p at 30fps or 720p also at 30fps. No option for 60fps. Given that I bought this because of the 60fps claim I am annoyed, but I need to use it asap so I will live with it. Second issue - battery is described as 1050mA - it's only 900. Also, advert refers to ULTRA HD which to me means the latest 4K HD. But it's just standard HD.All of the above said, the camera offers superb value. It's nicely made, simple to use, and doesn't feel like a "cheap" alternative to the much pricier GoPro. I just wish that the advert was more accurate so customers receive what they think they are buying. I know I could have returned it, but I needed it right away and 30fps is not a complete show stopper and in realtiy - this is £42 so there's a limit to what you can expect for so little outlay.It's just a shame that the advert description is not correct. I would ask the seller to reword the advert so that other buyers are not disappointed.

The camera is great, but I can't get the remote control to do anything. The lights on the remote flash when I press the buttons so it has some sort of life in it, but the camera seems to take no notice.The instructions are a bit terse and don't say anything about the remote. Havn't found anything useful on the web yet (although there is a "sales" email in Shenzen, I might try that.

I ordered this camera to use while cycling and also when I plan to go Scuuba Diving when I next go on holiday. It can go up to 30m deep which is deeper than I am certified to dive, so this was perfect.The camera comes with so many accessories, it surprised me. It comes with a waterproof/shock proof case, a remote control, a wrist strap, charger adapter and cable, and all kinds of adapters and mounts to put the camera in all kinds of places. The mount used is the same as the GoPro mount, so any GoPro oriented accessory or mount should work great with this camera. I liked the way it came with a metal security cable too, so I can be sure the camera won't detach while cycling or diving.It's capable of shooting in 1080p or 720p at 30fps, I was a bit annoyed that it didn't support 720/60fps as some alternatives do though. 60fps is better suited to sports and action packed recording and gives much smoother video than 30fps.The camera comes with just one battery, meaning you can record for 1 hour to 1.5 hours depending on if it is 1080p or 720p. Fortunately the batteries are standardised so you can get third party ones if you plan to record for longer, just make sure you change the battery within 3 seconds or else you will need to reconfigure your settings.The remote control is handy if you want to place the camera somewhere rather than mount it to your bike or helmet. It has a 20 metre range and is splash proof, though not waterproof.The camera settings allow you to set the frequency of light (50Hz or 60Hz), this is useful if you are recording inside to reduce flicker from lights. Set this to 50Hz if you are in Europe and 60Hz if you are in the USA. You can always check the power frequency from the country you are visiting if you are unsure.Overall I liked this camera, it's much more affordable than a GoPro which was overkill for what I needed. Obviously as a result the picture quality isn't as good and you don't get as large a range of framerate options but ultimately I just want a waterproof, shock proof camera that I don't need to worry about and this does the trick.
