A great set of walks from easy to challenging. 2/3 not suitable for smaller children(U10). Fantastic, clear directions, like a beautiful treasure hunt. Super locations, easy to use. Brilliant book.

We already have the south Devon and Dartmoor circular walks and added this one onto our rota. The walks in all four of the Dartmoor/south Devon pathfinder books are different although a few of them cover the same areas. We have just done the 3.5 mile hound tor walk today and really enjoyed it. Clear instructions and didn’t need to refer to the os map we had with us. Lovely walk showing us parts of the moor we didn’t already know.

Some excellent walks. Like the way the walks of a similar length / difficulty are grouped together from short / easy to longer / hard. Good description and easy to follow but the relevant OS map is a very useful, if not essential, addition to ensure the right path is being followed.

This is a really good little guide book. Small enough to make carrying easy. The walks vary in length and difficulty but every one we have done is accurately described and very easy to follow. Excellent purchase

I was disappointed to find this is just a rebrand of the identical Jarrolds guidebook. I was looking for some new routes. No worries my old guidebook needs replacing, so it will get used.
