So far I'm pleased with the indicator. Pretty smooth action and it repeats. After reading the reviews they indicated that the earlier versions of this product did not come with a case but the more recent ones did indeed come with the plastic case. I was dissipointed when it did not come with a storage case so I sent an email to the company to see if they could supply a case. They responded quickly so 5 stars for customer service and indicated they would not only send me a case but a newer version of the dial indicator. Haven't received it yet so I can't comment on that but again the product does seem to work pretty good for the limited use I've given it.
