My mom had one like this growing up and I had an event that I was cooking for that required a larger than a crock pot batch, so I ordered this. Am very happy with it. Glad I read the directions as it does call for a "burning in" period, otherwise the food I was making would have smelled like that. It cooks evenly and thoroughly, can't wait to try it on something other than a grand batch of Chili.

This is my roaster.I gave 2 to both my daughters, bought one for my sister, one for my mother and decided it was my turn for a new one.Turkey, chickens, Cornish game hens, but Brisket...what it does for Brisket is Heavenly.And the removable insertajes it a breeze to clean.5 StarsC F Wagener

We have yet to use ours. But it arrived in good shape and when promised. It's actually heavy and feels well made. We got the blue and it looks great.

I love this Roasting pan and it cooked a fabulous 26 lb turkey to perfection on Thanksgiving. Cooked in 4.5 hours, beautifully browned and moist. I'm 60 yo and have always cooked my Turkey in the oven....NEVER AGAIN! I should have bought a roaster years ago. Two pieces of advice: 1) Fill the unit with several quarts of water and do a burn off outside, if possible. I did mine on my back porch. The roaster has a horble smell when first used/turned-on. I actually burned mine off for 4-5 hrs a day for 3 days to make sure ALL the smell was gone. Don't let the roaster burn off the water or dry out completely. I also burned mine at full temp. 2) The outside of this Roaster gets severely hot to touch and will burn badly. Make sure you push it back away from the counters edge for the safety of young children and pets.

This 22lb size is big enough to cook a turkey or ham. Don’t get any bigger. It will be a waste of space and more to clean. CON: Hard to wash the inside pan. Metal and sticks even with spraying

My old roaster hard to clean, this one you can remove the dish , put it in water.

Very large size. Bigger than I expected, but haven't used it yet.
