As a junior product designer, I knew I needed to learn how to tackle whiteboarding challenge. Put simply, this book provided the framework I needed to undertake a task like this one. It allowed me to confidently go through the whiteboarding process and played a key part in me landing not one, but two job offers in a week!Thank you to the author for providing such a simple framework. Yes the book isn't cheap, but if it helps you land your first full-time role as a product designer, can you really put a price on that? 5 stars.

It's a great guide but the price is very steep for what it is - Designing Data Intensive Applications is my benchmark for the value required of a £30 book.

The book is brief, on point, very practical.It covers how conventional product design interview process looks like in tech companies and focuses on product design exercises. It gives advice on structuring the way you go with the exercise and gives examples of the exercises (with solutions).If you're preparing for product design interviews and you didn't have much practice in design exercises before, this book is definitely worth checking out.

This book is full of information but at £29.99, my daughter did expect more than a small paperback.It should be about £12.

I found this book very helpful, I was able to use it as a clear template to build out my portfolio and prep for interviews. The author was also super helpful and fast to respond when I had a question.

This is a great book. It gives a solid framework to solve any design problem. I haven't yet had the chance to practice my skills in an interview setting but it has given me a lot of confidence.
