splendid colour
It passed the tiny blob, gin, fingertip and invoice paper test very well. Good colour, nice density and formulation, adaptable from dry on dry to faint wet in wet, smooth or granulated seem to work.It will be fine on 680gm paper, it should mix with other good pigments.Thanks.

Lovely shade...
I bought this paint on advisement to create a particular, one-pigment landscape painting and it was absolutely perfect. It granulates slightly and splits occasionally showing deep oranges and turquoise hues when used wet-into-wet.Outstanding quality paint, as you would expect from Daniel Smith.Definitely one for the armoury.

Excellent and very smooth
A bit expensive but you get what you pay for. This is an excellent mixer and a great addition to basic palette.

Fabulous light neutral
Great colour, only available from DS. Use it in all sorts of paintings, but especially useful for art journaling

Expensive for a pearlescence colour.
This comes out of the tube white&goes on paper a pearlescence colour that can only be seen when light hits it,no matter the colour of paper albeit slightly better on dark paper&you need to apply quite a bit.Not what I was expecting at all. There are much cheaper but just as good or better options by other makes if this is what you're after. Tube was damaged but Amazon sorted the problem quickly.
