Why did you pick this product vs others?:I'm glad I spent a few extra dollars on this Klein; it's well-made, and the clips for the testers are good. I'm also pleased that I got four conductors. It made a tedious job so simple. I installed the different color connectors to trace different rooms in a new house. Then, I went up into the attic, and in a few seconds, I had everything sorted out. Without this tool, it would have taken hours to move the modem and see if it would start. It took me a few brain moments to realize that I should put the colored test units in the rooms and then go to the splitter with the device. Even if I never used it again, it saved my sanity on this one job.

great tool. like finding the connection points and testing all at the same time. Made the cable job easy,First thing changed the batteries. no clue how long on a shelf. just saying. Start fresh and give yourself the best chance of a proper test.

Like any Klein tool, I knew this one would be quality, it did not disappoint. It's rather durable, and within literally minutes I was able to tone out my apartment's coax runs, and was able to move my router super easily. Fits right in your pocket and the design is great. You can tone out 4 different runs at the same time, using the color coded plugs.

Good tool with solid storage of separate terminators (even included a F-F barrel, nice!) to check and de-mystify multiple coax runs. indicators are easy to read and it just works.

DId the Job: if you have a network cabinet already in your home - full of coax and trying to figure out which wire is which - this did the trick. I had a several wires and the writing wasn't clear. I had my MoCA 2.5 adapter hooked up to the wrong line I found out. Place the testers on 4 cables and then you can quickly test and find out which one is which. The prop 65 California warning made me hesitate but the reviews for this brand are the best.
