Cheap and seem to not work..total rubbish

I got this as training aid to help distract and prevent my dog barking at the door. We've struggled with the quiet command so thought it worth trying this out.Comes with a battery (not rechargeable) but the battery lasts a while.Gives out a high pitched noise that is barely noticeable to the human ear.When my dog barks at the doorbell, I use this immediately and it stops his bark within seconds. There is a light if needed but I don't use this feature.Very lightweight device with a simple push button on the side.

only any good as a torch. my dogs didn't react to it at all. made not one bit of difference. save your money

This ultrasonic dog deterrent was ordered to take out on my walks along local waggonways and fields frequently used by dog walkers. It was supplied with a 9V battery enabling use straight out of the box.I have had several recent experiences of unleashed dogs either jumping up and muddying my clothes or aggressively barking whilst ignoring recall instructions.I took this device out for the first this afternoon and had cause to use it within ten minutes of setting out. A large muddy dog came hurtling towards me without an obvious owner present. I pointed the device towards the dog and pressed the button in "chaser" mode which flashed lights as well as apparently omitting a high pitched tone. The approaching dog stopped in its tracks suggesting the device worked.I intend to take this on all walks in the hope that it will avoid further uncontrolled dog approaches.
