Great quality, low price ... for the diy wood turners. Carbide tools are very expensive, but they give the shop wood turner longevity on their tools. And that means instead of getting rid of a tool because you have ground away your steel over the years and now have to get use to a new tool handle or better yet, having to buy a cold metal handle that is over priced, and cold in the hand .. hard on the hand too, you now can make your own at the fraction of the price and get to know the feel of your tool handle for a lifetime. i like these for my set of tools, that i made for my self. Myself being an inventor, i decide that i would use these for my own wood turning invention prototypes. I have also extended the life of my original set my honing on a sharpening stone and honing fluid.

The toolbar that I have for a wood lathe it's the same kind of tool but the center hole needs to be half the size it is now I don't know what size I'm looking for it's approximately 1/8 but I received the shipment quick and they are nice just the wrong size for me thank you
