Full featured and compact
I upgraded to this much more condensed and svelte tool from the massive Alien II. I spent an inordinate amount of time researching multitools from every manufacturer I could find (even the unheard of Chinese names and the ultra lux European manufacturers) before buying the Hexus X. My new bike has myriad different fasteners and finding a tool with T30 torx, Philips, a full assortment of hex keys, tire levers, and a chain tool was nearly impossible. As far as I know, this is the ONLY tool in existence with every tool my particular bike needs (except for the things you can't get in a multitool like cassette wrench or bottom bracket spanner). Since purchasing it I've had 5 mechanicals and multiple friends have also used it and everyone has been satisfied. I was surprised to find that the tire irons are actually much better than my much Granite Talon Tyre Levers. They're not the most ergonomic (PITA to remove from the side of the tool) but the design of the bead hook means it's nearly impossible to pinch your tube when mounting a tire (it's short and has a nice smooth but thin edge that grabs the bead but doesn't protrude past into the tube's space). Everything seems to be more than sturdy enough for a multitool. I really can't recommend the Hexus X enough. It's small, sturdy, and well appointed with everything I think I could really need out on the road or trail. Hasn't let me down yet and if it does I'll still probably just buy another!

Great tool
This tool is high quality and does what it is design to do very well. This multi tool is a great option when you’re in a pinch while out on the trails. The set of tools is perfect for most bikes and the tools are long enough that you can actually work with them. Plus, I like that the ends don’t come loose with the tools flopping all over the place. You close the tool or pick the one you need, and the rest stay in place. It’s lightweight but sturdy to get the job done. This will always be in my mountain bike saddle bag.

Must have if you ride a bike!
This really is a must-have if you own a bike!Recently, my chain broke while I was riding my bike and I had no idea how to fix it. Actually, I'm glad it happened nearby my home because now I'm prepared on how to fix it, especially with this handy tool.I was actually in the market for just a chain tool, but I'm so glad I didn't buy a dedicated chain tool and just bought this multi-tool instead. The chain tool worked beautifully to remove my damaged chain and also to size up my new replacement chains. This is really all you need... I think those dedicated ones are overpriced for only one function. With all the tools on this thing, it's a steal! The design and engineering is really well thought-out. I'm really impressed. The lever for the chain tool is actually stored on the sides with the "Topeak" logo. It also acts as a lever for replacing tire tubes.Pros:- Well designed multi-tool/chain-tool works great!- Made in Taiwan; personally feel better than China.- Compact- Great easy-to-read instructions- PriceCons:None so farI have zero regrets buying this and feel more prepared carrying this on my bike rides. It's a quality product and the other positive reviews are no surprise.

Great tool, little heavy though
It is very good set of tools in a compact form. Quality is very good and it looks solid but the drawback is that it is pretty heavy. In terms of size it is a half of the volume of a rolled 700c spare tube. It is perfect for my commuter bike. But I would not consider to put in my road bike saddle bag. It wouldn't even fit in my saddle bag without taking something out. Thus I have a Topeak The Mini 9 for that.

Good tool with just about everything you need
I had some of the smaller Topeak tools and they were great. So when it came time to get an all inclusive tool that could take care of just about anything in a small package, I looked at topeak. I ride about 30 miles every morning and have a couple thousand miles with this tool. It has helped me change two flat tires and a broken spoke without issue. Used the tire levers pretty hard. Used the 5mm (?) hex to remove a front mech after a chain got jammed. One thing I do wish is that the chain holder wouldn't fall off the tool so easily when you open it up. It stays put when not open, but you find yourself putting it back on when closing the tool every time. I just put it in my saddle bag separately. With this tool and some other repair basics (spare tube and C02), I think I can get out of most any jam I'm even qualified to fix. It has the perfect ratio of capabilities to size and weight.I have used the chain tool at home several times.

Get little tool
Seems to have more options than some other similar tools. Like that it includes tire levers so it's one less thing to carry. Spoke wrenches, chain tool, even a presta core tool. Might not be the most durable or hardened, but I'm not using it to tear down or build a bike, just trailside tweaks and emergency repairs. Doesn't seem too heavy even.

Solid and reliable. Worth the purchase.
This multi-tool fits in the cycling bag underneath my seat and has every tool I need to make adjustments. I don't usually buy toy-specific multi-tools, but since I don't want to be caught miles away from my house without my tools, this was a no-brainer. It's a handy item to have on my bike.
