These tips fit nicely with my current soldering station. The tips are fine enough to enable me to solder SMT components on CCAs. Once properly tinned the solder flows easily from the tip to the item I am soldering. They are very comparable to brand name industrial solder iron tips. I would recommend these to anyone for hobby or home use.

I bought these specifically because I wanted long/narrow tips to get into tight spaces and for smaller scale SMT work. For this purpose, they work great.I have used these on my WES51 iron. Fit and general quality is very good. I've used other non-Weller tips in the past and been disappointed, but was very pleased with these. If you told me these were genuine Weller, I'd have believed you. For the price, I was very pleasantly surprised.Given how long the tips are I had suspected I would need to use the fatter 'side' higher up the tip to melt the solder and then, once it was already liquid, slide the thin pointed end of the tips for detail. You also need to operate the iron a bit hotter than usual (the sensor is obviously at the fat end and these are so long, there's a lot of air cooling going on).Once you learn this technique and in the context of finer detail work, they work great.

Very pleased with these tips. I work on small electronic parts such as vehicle ECUs and these tips are very good. Long lasting and much better quality than others. Ordered initially 1 to try it and now I reordered another 3. Recommend 💯
