These honestly impressed me. Now, I didn’t rate these 5 stars in comparison to Ken or San brands. I rated them based on their own merit, in their own class and price. I’ve machined brass, aluminum, mild steel, 3 & 4 series Stainless and a few mystery alloys with these and I’m impressed. The only time in a couple weeks of work I broke an insert was in turning the wrench flats off of grade 8.8 bolts (interrupted cut) which carbide doesn’t love anyway, but I wanted to see what I could get away with. Might upgrade the inserts when the time comes, but the tool holders are surprisingly nice.

They cut.5/8" provides a more rigid cut for steels.

These are nice and work well on my South bend heavy 10 lathe. They cut Steel, Aluminum, and Brass well and use common size inserts.

I like the quality for the price was just right for the small amountof parts I cut. Cutting steel shafts with them. works very well.

Real good quality.
