Rust-OleumGrey uPVC Door and Window Paint in Matt Finish - Anthracite (RAL 7016) 750ml

I absolutely LOVE this paint!! I have just used it to revamp an aging and tired patio door, and honestly was so impressed with how good this paint is. It went on super easy and covered perfectly in two coats, I used a foam roller for the second coat and the finish is 👌🏼I also love that there is literally no smell at all, meaning I can sneak diy renovations in under my husbands nose and he won’t immediately smell what I’ve done 🤣

I found this to be a very good product for my uPVC front door - but I would say it is not a 'beginner' paint. You have to take your time and be prepared to do (in my case) two thin coats. Also to use as good a paint brush as you can get - I used a laying off brush which is flat and has very smooth bristles, and used it as dry as possible. The paint is quite runny so you need to watch that but all in all the paint went on well, more easily than I expected with good 'grab' and dried very quickly. I was very happy with the finish and I had been a bit nervous about tackling it so somewhat relieved at the outcome.

I am not someone who leaves many reviews, and it has to be said, I purchased this paint with some trepidation after reading the reviews about how tricky it can be to use.However, it went on quickly, easily & smoothly using a mini roller ( my go to for paint application in most circumstances.A couple of thinner coats and I have a perfect finish.I've given it 4 stars because it's not as durable as I would like. My dogs claws marked it pretty easily but as I've barely used any from the tin, I can redo it regularly, if needed. It goes a very long way.

Used the paint to tidy up the front doors and the paint gives a beautiful finish using a brush. No brush marks at all, you do need to make sure that you have picked the correct colour as we first purchased a blue which was not right. Only found out when we took the lid off. Best to choose the darker colours.

I painted my front door and prepared as recommended but after it was dry the paint was coming off also tried again rubbing down after hours of labour and the same thing happened. Most disappointed and would warn anyone else from purchasing this product!

Easy too go one with roller good coverage I was covering bright orange and it took 3 coats. It cleans easy, it being matt no fingers marks. I would and will purchase again.
