Telling Time Teaching Clock, 10 inch Silent Movement Analog Learning Clock for Kids, Perfect Room & Wall Decor for Classrooms, Playrooms and Kids Bedrooms

The media could not be loaded.  Today I'm doing a review on the Tinlod Telling Time Teaching Clock. I purchase it for my son's playroom. He is five years old, and we're teaching him how to tell time. The pros of the clock are that it doesn't have a ticking noise, and it has a simple s-step teaching system that all kids can read. My son can tell them the time because he recognizes the numbers. It runs on an AA battery, and one of my favorite things is a lightweight clock. I highly recommend it to all parents and teachers.

This clock is easy to read. I love that the minutes are clearly labeled around the whole clock. It also color codes the territory of each hour so the kids can see that, even though it's close to the next hour, it hasn't yet left the previous hour's space. The hands are labeled "hour" and "minute." It also has the ability to learn military time by labeling the numbers with the AM hour and PM hour if you wanted to use a 24 hour clock. It helps the kids understand to and past like 20 minutes to 5 or 18 minutes past 7. It labels the areas with a color coded "to" section and "past" section. This clock is great for teaching how to tell time, but it can obviously work even after all the kids in the house can tell time. It uses one battery which in not included.

My 6yr old daughter is still learning the time and how to read clocks. This clock is the perfect teaching tool. It doesn't get any easier than this to learn all about clocks. She is already after a few hours beginning to grasp how to read the time accurately. I love how colorful it is and it's very child friendly. It hangs nicely in her bedroom. She loves looking at it.

The hour hand matches the color of the hour numbers and the minutes hand matches the color of the minutes so it makes it easier for the little ones to understand the difference of minutes and hours (mostly--they still get confused when it's 5:55 and it looks like the hour is 6:00, but who didn't as a kid?).
