Very good reading, like every single Jack Reacher novel.The paperback I received has a defective binding, when I opened the book the 1st time, the pages separated from the binding, like they're wasn't enough glue.If this happens to you, don't wait, you only have 30 days to get a refund or an exchange (I didn't open the book on reception, and now it's been 32 days - so too late!)

Somewhat changed writing style, compared with earlier thrillers.

Yes, more of the same but that’s why these novels appeal to their readers. This one is probably a tad better than the other jointly written books although nothing really compares to some of the earlier classics. A good deal of gratuitous violence, from Reacher and others, especially towards to end but that’s what we want isn’t it . . . ?
