Does not connect
Does not connect to hub. Either it’s defective of more probably because it’s a sw10a and it’s sold a new versions which should be a sw30.

Absolutely awful
BT have, in my opinion, made a huge mistake by using EE products. This is marketed as an improvement on their own Whole Home disc. It is not. Constantly loses link to the hub and needs pairing again and again, which the previous disc did not. I'll be returning this and going back to the old version.

Works well with BT Smart Hub 2 but check the model
Have purchased 2 of these via auction sites. Critically do check the model as the units look the same but there are compatibility issues with the BT Smart Hub 2. Model SW10A is BT compatible, but a seller shipped me an SW30A (looks exactly the same and packaged the same) spent hours trying to get this to work and it would not. Had to return this as was wrongly advertised as a SW10A. So check for SW10A on unit and box if having issues, this may explain things. Apart from that it is all working great and the square EE version can have the light shut off or dimmed so if placed in a bedroom does not disturb. Signal is significantly boosted creating good coverage in our property. BT app is really useful as the “Your WiFi Network” shows both the router and EE WiFi Disk so you can do basic checks on performance and see what is connected to the units and the speed of connection. App is not needed but provides useful benefits and control. Yes my BT Smart Hub 2 and the EE unit is white but actually it hides away well and is not in the same room so not an issue.

Doesn't have a wall mount
Why oh why did they create this without a wall mount? EE are so thick...

Rubbish
I thought I was getting a BT disc. This arrived and it’s terrible. I’ve requested the BT disc and will send this back

Cheap looking and ugly
The old BT mesh range extender discs were so much nicer. Not sure why BT is shipping this completely mismatched EE device that is stylistically inferior to the Home Hub 2.
