Premium build and porformance
The UGREEN Revodok Pro USB C Docking Station is undoubtedly a high-end docking solution that offers an impressive range of features and capabilities. From the moment I received it and opened the box, I was struck by the premium presentation and the undeniable robust quality of the dock itself. The packaging exudes a sense of sophistication and attention to detail that sets the tone for what's inside. The build quality of the docking station is top-notch, and it feels like a sturdy and durable piece of equipment. The materials used and the overall design of the dock are very impressive, and it's clear that UGREEN has put a lot of thought into the product. One of the standout features of this docking station is its ability to support dual HDMI and DP outputs, allowing for single 8K or triple 4K displays. This level of display versatility is a significant advantage for users who require high-resolution setups, such as creative professionals or multitasking enthusiasts. The inclusion of a 100W USB-C GaN charger is also a huge plus, as it can power even demanding devices like the MacBook M1/M2. The 10Gbps data transfer speed is another notable feature that ensures quick and efficient data handling. However, the one drawback that keeps me from giving this product a full 5-star rating is its price tag. While the quality and functionality justify a premium cost to some extent, it remains quite pricey. For budget-conscious consumers, this might be a significant consideration when deciding whether to invest in the UGREEN Revodok Pro.In conclusion, the UGREEN Revodok Pro USB C Docking Station is an excellent choice for those seeking a high-quality, feature-rich docking solution. Its premium presentation, robust build, and impressive capabilities make it a standout product in its category. Just be prepared for the higher price point that comes with all these premium features.

Premium(but expensive) dock
The box is beautifully presented with card folded to create compartments for the accessories and dock. There is very little plastic beside a few bags. Inside you have the dock, the GAN charger, two USB-C cables and user guide. The dock feels well made and has some weight to it. There are 3 monitor outputs consisting of 2 HDMI's(2.0 and 2.1) and a display port (1.2). As well as the video outputs on the rear there is both power and host USB-C ports, an ethernet port, and two USB-A ports. On the front there is a USB-C and A, card readers for SD and TF, and 3.5mm audio jack. The GAN charger is chunky and feels heavy. However the footprint is quite small and it doesn't overhang the socket. It supplies upto 100w and has two USB-C sockets. The supplied cables are decent quality with one being designed for power by the looks of it and the other being general purpose.Hooking it up to my chromebook I was able to output video via all the ports. The USB pots and card readers all functioned perfectly and I did indeed get audio from the jack. I am not currently able to try all 3 displays but I see no reason why they wouldn't work perfectly. There is no doubt this is a high quality dock that functions perfectly(from my testing). However at £399 the price is pretty eyewatering for the average user. There is an £80 off voucher at the time of writing, that makes it a little more palatable but even then you need to be a serious user.

Highest End Non-Thunderbolt USB-C Docking Station
If your laptop does not support Thunderbolt, this docking station tries to give you most of the features but using USB-C instead. Thunderbolt supports connections of 40 Gbps, but USB C 3.2 is limited to supports 10 Gbps. Somehow, UGreen have managed to cram in a wide different ports and compatibility with multiple displays into a single unit. However, to achieve this with limited bandwidth some compromises must be made. The docking station is 12-in-1 with 2x HDMI ports (1x HDMI 2.1, 1x HDMI 2.0), 1x Display Port 1.2, 1x USB C 10Gbps port, 1x USB A 10 Gbps port, 2x USB A 5 Gbps ports, Gigabit Ethernet, SD Card/TF slots, 3.5mm jack, and a USB-C PD 3.0 100w port. The doc is compatible with Windows and Mac OS and USB 3.2 10 Gbps connections. The dock comes in a premium black box and the unboxing experience is pretty nice. In the box you get the dock, a 100w UGreen Nexode GaN dual USB-C wall charger, 2x USB-C ports (one for data, one for power), a user manual and a mini-driver CD? What? It’s 2023, driver CD’s are a thing of the past… It turns out to get multi display support on Mac OS, you need to install a ‘Displaylink’ driver to get it to work which does some trickery and display stream compression to reduce the bandwidth requirements for driving multiple displays. You can download the driver from the UGreen website instead, but they should have included a USB drive for this, especially given the price. In all honesty, if you are considering a product like this you likely have some high demand workflows and you would be better off buying Thunderbolt compatible peripherals to drive triple displays and power through a single cable. However, if that is not an option for you and you can only use USB C 3.2, then this dock is probably the only way you’ll be able to achieve this as long as you can accept some compromises with display compression.

Premium Hub
To begin, I must mention that the primary concern with this docking station is its price. Comparing it to other docking stations that provide comparable outcomes, this one is exceedingly expensive. However, if the cost is reduced, I can confidently state that the construction and ease of use are superb.Setting up the dock was a breeze, and I appreciate that it stands upright on my desk instead of dangling from my laptop’s USB port. I’m currently utilizing it for two monitors, a keyboard, a mouse, a webcam, and a headset. The transition between my two laptops has been effortless, thanks to the seamless switching via the USBC cable. Overall, I’m thoroughly enjoying my experience with this device. To ensure proper functioning, the DisplayLink software is a necessary requirement. If you encounter a scenario where only two monitors turn on after waking the Macbook from sleep, don’t worry. The solution is simple - restart the DisplayLink software and unplug and reconnect the USB-C cable between the Macbook and the dock.Connecting two monitors can be challenging for those who own newer MacBooks. Apple has restricted this capability, limiting it to the Max chip on their latest models. However, there are now alternative options available to overcome this issue. You can access multiple connection options and connect multiple 4K monitors under the username @60Hz. However, it’s important to note that going up to 8K may limit the refresh rate to 30Hz.The speed of data transfer for each interface is impressive, even for slower inputs such as the SD and micro SD card slots. Furthermore, the station supports fast charging with a power output of 100 watts.I’d like to recommend a top-of-the-line hub from UGREEN that truly lives up to its name. While the price-to-performance ratio may be a little off-kilter, the quality of its construction and ease of use are truly exceptional.

Wonderful dock but absurdly expensive
If you check my other reviews, I'm on the hunt for the perfect dock. I did finally find one but I decided to try this UGreen one as an alternative to see if I prefer it.Short story is I do prefer it, but not at the cost.My previous "perfect" dock has 2xHDMI, 1xDP, 3xUSB3.0, 2xUSB2.0, 1x1Gbit ethernet, headphones out, PD in, 2x USB C and SD/MicroSD readers and was half the RRP of this one. This Ugreen Revodock is very similar but lacks the USB C ports I was wanting in a dock. It does have other features instead though.Firstly the included charger and cables are excellent quality. There is a convenient power button on the dock which I've never seen before and the whole package feels very well built and uses good quality materials. No doubt this is a premium product. However, with the lack of USB C ports and the double price of the other dock, I feel that this is just too expensive for the average user. You can pick up a more advanced dock for significantly less. It won't be as pretty, won't have such a great charger and may not last as long.If you want the best in terms of build and appearance then this is for you. If you want a cheap, simple connectivity solution, perhaps save yourself some cash.
