Respirator Mask with Filters 60921: Half Face Respirator Reusable Gas Mask for Spray Paint Chemical Epoxy Resin Dust Mask for Construction Organic Vapor Woodworking Sanding Welding

Bought this due to needing to do a lot of grinding on metal, and cleaning up of rusty metal. Needed to do some painting and priming as well. I had started the project already, and had been cleaning iron dust out of my nose so I stopped the project and bought this. This is easy to adjust to fit your face properly, filters fit on easily, additional filters are readily available. The fit and material is just like the big name brands out there. I no longer had iron dust getting to my nose using this respirator, couldn't even smell the iron dust in the air through the mask. Couldn't really smell the paint either while painting with this. Took the mask off both while painting, and cleaning up metal to see the scent difference, and it was dramatic. This definitely works as it should, ill definitely buy another if this one wears out. I've been using it for several months at this point and it's still working exactly as it should.

Great product. Unsure of the gas seal or the filter, I would not use it for any serious application. several of the head bands arrived attached backwards and are impossible to fix due to the nature of the assembly. gas mask is still useable despite these issues

The good? The gas mask seems to work well in dusty conditions and the goggles are very clear and don't seem to fog. Great eye protection. The bad is that together it is completely unusable for me! The seller stated that they fit comfortably over small framed glasses. I wear small framed glasses and between the goggles and respirator, my glasses are pushed up into my face, cutting into my nose near my eyebrows. I tried adjusting everything, tried wearing it for a while to see if I could get used to it, but it was so painful that I just couldn't wear it any longer. I am a woodworker and work in terribly dusty conditions with wood shavings and dust flying towards my eyes. I need both the goggles and the respirator, at the same time. This is totally worthless to me, and they don't allow returns. This is not right. If they didn't specifically state that they work with glasses, I wouldn't be able to complain, but I thought I'd found a good product that works with glasses. Not so. I think that's a cheap trick, claiming to work with glasses. I have a small face and wear glasses with small lenses and small wire frames.

The mask itself fit my face well.The problem was the side clips that allow for adjustment failing to catch their straps and the clip on back of the neck, which holds the mask in place, breaking. I didn't have time to order a new mask, so I ran tiny safety pins through the ends of the mask straps so they couldn't slip through the side adjustment clips and detach from the mask.I was very lucky that I had access to another, unusable respirator that I could take the neck clip from and replace the broken neck clip on my mask.Once I finished fixing my mask, it worked really well!This mask allowed me to help clean out a hoarder's house safely, and I'm grateful for that. I don't think I should've had to fix the straps or replace the neck clip but you do what you have to when you're helping folks you care about.The seal of the mask is good, if you can get all the clips to cooperate.It's tempting to put on a respirator extremely tight but it's not necessary and it will give you a terrible headache if you try it.
