I bought this for Les Mills BodyPump since I can’t attend the classes at my gym anymore. It’s a little less than $40 under the LM brand. I’m reviewing it because I was nervous on buying this or duct with no revives to guide me, so I wanted to help out someone who’s considering this but likes reviews how I do.It arrived 2 days earlier than expected. Simple packaging (packaging wrapped in a plastic covering. The risers are already connected so it’s good to go out of the box if that’s your preference..I haven’t tried to take them off so I can’t speak on the ease or functionality of thatI’ve only used this for two different LM workouts, so I can’t speak on durability either.I will update accordingly.I was doing the workouts at home without the bench and now that I use it, I can honestly say it makes a difference on the entire workout for the better. It can be used for various workouts no matter what you’re into.It’s sturdy and solid. It holds and comfortably supports my back, and it stays secure and in place when I use it for push ups and other exercises. The material feels like a combo of rubber smoothed out on a solid surface if that makes sense?! It’s firm, yet gentle on the back. It looks almost identical to the LM one(from what I’ve seen online). It’s heavy but not so heavy that it can be easily picked up and moved during your workout. It doesn’t look or feel cheap and it’s perfect for what I need it for. I’m glad I bought this.

I bought this because the step from my house onto the porch is uncomfortably high, especially for older people and older, little dogs. Wish I'd gotten it years ago because it's really nice! It's very sturdy, doesn't move around and does a great job. Been using it about a year and it still looks new.

This step platform seems like it's made well. I'm a little skeptical of the strength of the individual riser pads, but time will tell. The product box was damaged, but I don't think it did anything to the product during shipping. The platform is wrapped in plastic and mine does have a blemish on the top rubber that I'm not thrilled about. I'm hoping the rubber will hold up for years to come as that is where this product will show the most wear.

I recently started doing stepper workouts, which I've never done before. I did research and this one kept popping up on all the best lists.I love it!It never slides around and it is big enough I can do all the step variations in my workouts.It was also reasonably priced.It came on time in great condition. I am very very happy with my purchase.It's hard for me to sweat, but I easily sweat with these workouts!

It’s heavy and stays in place. I used one of the extra height adjusters and use it mostly as a step to get into my high bed. It would definitely work as a very sturdy exercise step.

I purchase this step because I love step aerobic, but unfortunately I do not have access to a gym that offers group aerobics. The next best thing was to purchase a step and find videos. This is the perfect step. I use it to help with mobility and stretching as well. It is solid and strong.

I bought this for my home gym and it works perfectly. You can stack the steps/risers in 2 different locking modes. The first being like traditional step where the risers just sit on eachother in a groove, or these will actually lock together. The lock is firm and secure. Give a good tug and pull to get them apart when you're ready to adjust (you won't break them). Its sturdy, the grip design is flat and doesn't bother me at all when I lay on it for hip thrusts or like a bench. Also, I like that its easy to find extra risers. The with the original aerobic steps, the risers alone were a pain to find and came in all different size measurements. I didn't want to buy something that wasn't going to fit together.EDIT: I purchased additional steps. They fit perfectly, great shape. However: the reviews and answers to the question "how many risers included in the '1 set' vs '2 set'?" were mixed. I was hoping for 4 risers for $50+. It is a set of 2 risers, not 2 pairs of risers. So that is disappointing. Not going to diminish the star rating because quality is still there, but I think the price is a bit high for additional risers.

I use it as a footrest under my desk. It lines up my posture perfectly.

Pros:This is a very solid and full sized step platform, meaning you won't lose your footing and it won't tip over while you're using it.Risers can lock into place nothing wobbles and you can stack everything together neatly in one unit.Risers can also be used on their own as mini platforms.The design is very much like the Les Mills version, but in my opinion looks a lot nicer.Rubber feet won't scratch your floors and ensures that the platform stays in place while in use.Great value for your money - if you wait for it to come down in price. This version was going for over $200 at one point but I watched and waited - eventually it came down to $172 and that's when I snapped it up.Cons:This is a very heavy step platform, which can be a good thing because that's what makes it safe and solid (a pro). But the weight also makes it not portable, so I have to store it in my living room where I work out. I would've loved to store it in the basement but there's no way I can lug this thing up and down the stairs - that in itself is a difficult workout.There are no instructions and there's a steep learning curve to popping the risers on and off. I thought, how hard could it be to figure out? As it turned out, it was actually very hard lol. Luckily, there's a very helpful review below by someone named TC who demonstrates how to pop the risers apart, which I had to watch a few times before I finally figured it out. Make sure to expand the video to full screen so you can easily see how she does it.TL; dr: this step is beautifully designed and solidly made. If you're looking for a quality step platform, you won't find a better one (including the Les Mills one) than this.

I love this step. Very sturdy and the locking risers make it easy to move during a workout. Mainly use it for BodyPump and stretch classes. My one complaint is that it did not come with instructions on how to add or remove the risers.....this is an issue because there is a definite knack to it and it took me more than a few uses to figure it out. Otherwise highly recommend.
