Very Economical & Great for Weighted Squats and Lunges
I have the Les Mills Total Body Pump equipment and this pad fits perfectly. The Velcro straps keep it from coming off and if it’s not too tightly strapped on it rolls so when doing deadlifts etc, the pad isn’t a hinderance. Plus, most importantly, it protects my neck from the weight of the barbell. It’s very comfortable and I’m happy that I purchased it.

Cheap but quality is also cheap
Good price, sure. But you still get ripped off because this is pretty much worthless. Sure, the straps that come with the pad can hold it in place, but the problem is it's far too skinny.When it wraps around the bar, it doesn't give the bar as much contact surface with your thighs, so when you do hip thrusts, even if you just use a little weight it hurts like hell.Same goes for squatting.If you go to a gym, I would recommend just going to the front desk and ask if you can borrow one of their bar pads. The two gyms I go to both have much better ones.

Only for hip thrusts or other movements, NOT FOR SQUATS
I purchased this for hip thrusts, but I don’t like that they advertise it for squatting. Let me make something clear: a bar pad should not be used for squatting unless you are doing some super light work or something. It compromises form. You cannot, will not, and should not squat heavily with a squishy bar pad. The bar should either be in a high bar or low bar position, and to properly squat, you have to be able to feel where that cushion is. If it hurts, then I suggest 1) getting used to it 2) ensure you are properly using your upper back to support the bar. End rant.It definitely can be used for hip thrusts and glute bridges which work great! It serves its purpose. A lot of these reviews seem to be for squatting, though.

I love this
Squating is a very dangerous and uncomfortable excercise. And when you are trying to get a good form and feel the muscle this will stun your results. I have bought other pads before and none felt this great. I love this pad so much that I actually enjoy squating now and have been getting stronger and form better.Also the pain of my knees while doing them disappeared. Some may call it a p pad, but a bench for benchpress is the same thing. If your comfortable and feel safer doing an excercise you will enjoy doing it and doing it correctly. I highly recommend this pad. The quality of it and the snaps.No neck, back or knee pain anymore. Thanks to this product. Highly recommended.

What a Difference Some Padding Makes!!
Ok, so I'm getting whimpier at the tender age of 71 and thinner as I get older. So barbells that never felt like much on my neck and shoulders before now were never a problem. The product was made for exactly what they said... resting a bar on your shoulders and neck for stand up exercises. I gave it a 4 only because I use it on a bench sitting down and it's a little too thick for the bench. It's very comfortable and does the job of cushioning the barbell extremely well and deserves a five. I had to make some adjustments to my bench, but it's all worked out. If you don't have a lot of mass in your traps and deltoids and your neck is not all that thick, this contraption is perfect for you!

Very thick..needs straps to to function
It was much thicker than I expected..I would go as far as to call this "huge" in thickness. Also I might not have read the description correctly but you have to use the straps in order to keep this on the bar. Regardless IF I didnt read that right and that would be on me, this is still a horrible feature. It's so time consuming! The straps are not connected they are their own unit so you have to put the foam on the bar and then apply one strap at a time...it wouldn't be so bad if they were attached to the foam at least. I would bother to take the time to strap it on maybe for hip thrusters but not for squatting..but it does seem durable and decent quality besides those things so I'll be keeping it. I'll probably just glue the straps to the foam.

IT MAKES THE DIFFERENCE!!
This product without a doubt is like night and day for me. Before I bought this support I could barely any reps because the bar kept hurting my shoulders as it rubbed on my bones. Once I got this product and I was able to have that support on my neck and my shoulders. 😁👍 Well as they say the rest is history I can do everything I want to do and more. Great product I definitely recommend this love it
