Handy And Lightweight
Got this to throw in my camping kit and so far, I can say it is well built for its purpose and well thought out for both hammering stakes in but also pulling them back out. This is not the type of tool you would use for working on your home, but it is really perfect for camping. I am not sure what purpose the lanyard serves as its kind of awkward and gets in the way, so I just removed it. Other than that, it has worked great for me so far.

It works not to heavy weight wise for hiking
It works hurts if you miss the peg. It is noisy the sound does vibrate and amplified the sound definitely not stealthy but does work. I have a Kodiak tent that has very beefy stakes and had no problems. So yes to buy, seems like it will hold up will see

Good little work horse
I bought heavy tent stakes and added this hammer not expecting it to be effective. After going camping last week, we were thoroughly impressed with it's ability to both drive a stake and remove it. Packs a punch for a little hammer.

Works well - sturdy
It works well and is study, durable. Only strange thing is it makes this whistling , pitchy sound when you swing/use it.

Great Camping Tool
I bought this camping hammer and stake remover for our camping trip this past weekend and this past May.It was very easy to use and made pulling the heavy duty tent stakes out of the ground so much easier. It was great hammering in the stakes as well and again made it easier.The only issue I had was the red nylon strap was in the way all the time so I had to remove it, then clipped it back on when done with it.
