Q: When the chair is in ground chair position (lowest), what is the measurement from seat to ground?

When the chair is in its lowest position with the legs folded and stowed and the chair is unoccupied, the front lip of the seat is about 8 inches from the ground. The center of the chair seat will be about 5 inches from the ground. Occupied, the center of the chair seat will be lowered, depending on the weight of the person. I am 230 pounds. When I sit in the chair there is about 3 inches of clearance between the lowest part of the seat and the ground.

Q: Anyone uses this daily (eg at home)? If so, how is it holding up?

My chair is in front of the wood stove. I love sitting on it and watching the fire every night.

Q: Is it breathable and does it easily dry out?

Because the seat is made from cotton canvas, it is very breathable. The material is a bit heavier than denim used in a pair of jeans, so if the seat gets wet, it will dry about as fast as a pair of jeans would dry.
