This is a great product. I was worried it would not hold the soap well, but i was wrong. Wad it up in a ball and squirt one shot of soap on it and by the time you wash an arm, it's well lathered. Be careful the first time you use it or you may loose a few layers of skin in a sensitive area. Exfoliated my back and sawed through a few layers of dead skin cells. Make sure your home is soundproof or your neighbors may hear the noises of exfoliated bliss you make and come check on you. I haven't had an itch or breakout on my back since purchase. (truck driver sweating against the seat) Highly recommend

Best back and body scrubber ever! This does exactly everything it says it does. I've used back brushes and body scrubbing gloves and it hurts my neck to use these items and they never get every corner if your body or scrub away the skin enough. I scrub and scrub the areas and i run my fingernails down the areas and still have dead skin coming up. Not with this product! This literally changed my life. It is rough, but I don't care because I want it to be and was looking for something this rough to buff out my skin. Every inch of my body is so smooth and I cannot wait to see how this hopefully finally gets rid of my back breakouts along my sports bra line. Very easy to use, the length is perfect and for once I was able to not get a sore neck scrubbing myself with this product.

After being disappointed for the last time by my local supermarket's "selection" of "exfoliating" "loofahs", I discovered these badboys. I was worried they wouldn't be what I was looking for, but I'm very glad to be wrong. They dry fast, so there's no worries of funky musty water smell or having to use it wet if you shower often. Super easy to use. Black and grey for the colors suit me just fine, but I wouldn't mind more colorful ones or patterned ones.Still not convinced? I get it, I was hesitant too.Worried you'll miss the shape of normal loofahs? Fold it over a few times and BAM. Serious scratch meets functionality in a BIG way.Speaking of big, unsure of the size? They're long enough to reach all the places you could possibly want to reach, and then some.Give these a try and thank me later.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This towel is rough; it is great for exfoliating. I removed one star because it is a full foot shorter than my Japanese cloth, making it a bit tougher to scrub my back. The nature of the material makes it unable to retain soap. I guess I can't fault it for that. My Japanese cloth isn't as rough but it can retain soapy water to help clean. It's a tradeoff.

It’s stiff and yes it feels scratchy but it holds a lot of lather so start gently. Get used to a lighter pressure and still get your skin nicely exfoliated. I follow with a light sesame body oil on wet skin then pat dry. Skin feels very smooth and looks polished. I love it.

This is the best one out there. I work in a very dusty, dirt environment and I always felt not 100% clean. Through social media I'd always see everyone recommending African nets for a good exfoliation. However, other ones I have tried haven't been as exfoliant as THIS ONE. Be careful when you first try it, cause it's ROUGH... but you feel CLEAN, like REAL CLEAN. It dries very quickly too! It's very easy to use and the net is very thick, not like other African nets that the threading is very loose. It retains soap quite well, so you'll definitely get a good lather from a bar of soap (antibacterial all the way!). The length of it is just perfect, I'm 5'2" & my husband is 6'2", it helps us both get the middle of the back very well! It's definitely worth the money, I know it is a bit on the pricier side than other nets, but this one is just perfect! I highly recommend this product!

Extra rough indeed, feels like you're trying to wash with a brillo pad. Length is good for cleaning your back, but wouldn't purchase again.

A shrub for your back that actually gets the job done!! Highly recommend. Your body is so smooth after using it! My husband absolutely loves using it for his itchy back when works outside and gets sweaty his back itches all the time so this really gets the job. Length is perfect. It will last you awhile for sure the material is quite durable.
