NewRay 20665 "Cessna 172 Skyhawk Model Water Plane Set

This isn’t a fully detailed replica of the real thing, there expensive and complex kits for that. Basically a toy, but models of these types of aircraft aren’t that common. Mine went together well. It was bigger than I expected, but is a good size for putting on your desk/book shelf. I added some extra detailing to it and I’m well pleased with it. Sturdy enough for play and easy to assemble. A nice little buy.

Quite a neat model for the price. As others have said it needs a bit more weight on the nose to be stable but otherwise OK

I used this model for my CFI checkride and my DPE really liked how I used it for teaching. I'm going to continue using it for ground lessons. Only mild complaint is as everyone else says, it's tail heavy so it doesn't stay on the front nose wheel but that doesn't matter to me. I don't get the reviews saying it's bad quality, it's the exact quality I expect for under $20. If you want a high quality model Cessna to display, you're gonna need to spend well over $200.
