Bought for my surface laptop. Works like a charm on the surface laptop. But the hdmi doesn't read/work when i connected to my Monster(gaming brand) laptop.Other surface docking stations are way more expensive, which is why I searched for a cheaper option. I'm happy that I found this! Serves my purpose for 1/10th of the price compared to the Microsoft one.

Struggling with HDMI connection, rest is on

I am so pleased to have extra ports using this. It's helpful having the power input on here too. Works very well. I still experience fast transfer rates through this. (I haven't done a speed check but it feels just as quick as it should be without any drop in speed).I'm using this with the Dell Latitude 7200 2-in-1 (core i5. 8th generation).When turning the power supply off, when it's connected through this, my screen goes blank and I have to wake it up again by pressing a key. I'm not sure if that's due to a setting in the computer causing this. Usually, however, when I turn the power off, the computer screen continues to stay on using its internal battery. If I find out any more on this I'll update with my findings.I'm overall very satisfied with this device. Gives me extra ports with decent speeds, and allows me to connect it to a TV via HDMI cable, whilst charging my computer through it with my power supply.

Compattissimo, ho fatto un reso di un prodotto che costava il doppio, purtroppo con Ally niente 30w power mode. Con questo, ovviamente con charger 100w e non l'originale (ha 65w che se collegati ad un hub scendono anche a 50w per le esigenze energetiche dell'hub stesso) ho 30w power, hdmi che funziona alla prima e e le sue usb.Ovviamente spinto così vedremo la durata nel tempo. Comunque io l'ally lo collego solo se devo smanettarci in ambiante windows senza giocarci. consiglio sia il rog ally (vengo da steam deack) che questo prodotto.

I bought three. Two were gifts. I've tested mine with the Steam Deck and my phone. There were some hiccups, but they were on the phone/console side, not the dock's fault. It works smoothly, but be aware that the PD is somewhere between 20w and 45w. My son uses his constantly to use a controller (xbox) with his phone games. He loves it.

More than 6 months and works perfect.
